Prayers.

Wiseman's Petition.

THE humble Petition of John Wiseman, of Wimbish, in the County of Essex, Esquire, was this Day read.

Ordered, That the Trustees for Sale of Delinquents Estates be enjoined not to sell any the Lands of John Wiseman, of Wimbish in the County of Essex, Esquire.

Ordered, That a Bill be brought in, for discharging the Lands of the said John Wiseman from Sale, notwithstanding the former Order: And that Sir Wm. Masham do bring in a Bill accordingly.

Embassy from France.

Mr. Speaker, by way of Report, acquaints the Parliament, He had received a Copy of Letters Credentials, given from the King of France to Sieur De Bourdeaux, which are superscribed thus; "Au Parlement de la Republique d' Angleterre," with a Translation thereof in English: Which was now read.

Resolved, That Tuesday, at Eleven of Clock, be the Time appointed for giving Audience to the said Sieur De Bourdeaux, according to the Rule in like Cases.

Ordered, That Sir Oliver Fleming Knight, Master of the Ceremonies, do give the said Sieur De Bourdeaux Notice hereof.

Ordered, That the Serjeant at Arms, attending the House, do take care the Rooms be prepared for the said Audience.

Army Committee.

Colonel Downes reports from the Committee of the Army, A Bill appointing a Committee for the Army and Treasurers at War: Which was read the First and Second time.

The Question being put, That this Bill be committed;

It passed with the Negative.

The Question being put, That this Bill be ingrossed;

It passed with the Negative.-

Ordered, That the Lord General, Colonel Fielder, Mr. H. Darley, Colonel Birch, Colonel Ingoldsby, Mr. Wm. Masham, Mr. Hussy, Mr. Westrow, Colonel Pyne, Colonel Philip Jones, be added to the Committee of the Army.-

The said Bill, so amended, being put to the Question, passed: And ordered to be printed and published.

Assessments.

The Draught of a Letter, to be sent unto the Commissioners for the Assessments of the respective Counties, was this Day read.

Ordered, That the Committee of the Army do prepare and bring in a Letter for this Purpose, according to usual Form, on Tuesday Morning next.

Deane Forest.

Ordered, That the Trustees for Sale of Delinquents Estates be enjoined to forbear to survey or sell any Part of the Forest of Deane, claimed by Sir John Winter, by Colour of any Patent: And that they do forthwith recall the Surveyors sent to survey the same.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee for Parks and Forests: And that they be authorized and required to see this Vote put in Execution.

Ordered, That that Committee do send a Copy of this Order to the Officers in the Forest of Deane, and such other Persons as they shall think fit.

Ordered, That Sir John Winter be remanded back to the Prison of the Tower, notwithstanding the last Order for his Liberty upon Bail.

Forfeited Estates.

Mr. Garland reports from the Committee, Amendments to the Bill for further Doubling of One hundred thousand Pounds upon the Sale of several Lands and Estates forfeited to the Commonwealth for Treason: Which were twice read; and, upon the Question, assented unto.

A Proviso was tendered to this Act, in these Words; viz. "Provided that the Trustees, in this Act named, permit not any of the Bills hereby authorized to be doubled, to be received and admitted as in Part or in Whole of any Purchase-Money, until the Five hundred thousand Pounds, formerly doubled, with Interest, due according to the former Act, be paid and satisfied into the Treasury, by Bills, or in ready Money;" Which was this Day read the First time.

The Question being put, That this Proviso be now read a Second time;

It passed with the Negative.

The Question being put, That this Act be ingrossed;

It passed with the Negative.

And the Act, so amended, being put to the Question, passed: And ordered to be printed and published.

WeaversHall Bills.

Ordered, That the Act touching Weavers-Hall Bills, passed Yesterday, be forthwith printed and published.

Publick Revenue.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Persons appointed to have Inspection into the Treasuries, to take Account of, and have a present Inspection into, all the Treasuries; and see what Money may be had out of any of them for Supply of the present Service; and report the same to the House on Tuesday next.

Sale of Parks.

Ordered, That the Bill for the Sale of the Parks be reported on Monday next; and that the Committee do sit in the mean time: And Mr. Garland do take care of it.

Forfeited Estates.

The Certificate of the Trustees for the Sale of Lands and Estates forfeited to the Commonwealth for Treason was this Day read.

Resolved, That the Debate upon this Certificate be adjourned till Wednesday next, the First Business.

House to sit.

Resolved, That the House do sit on Monday next, notwithstanding the former Order; and then the former Order to stand, till the House take further Order.
