Friday, the 11th of March, 1658.

Prayers.

Tavestock Writ.

CAPTAIN Hatsell, being chosen to serve as a Member in this present Parliament, as well for the Borough of Plympton, as for the Borough of Tavestock in the County of Devon, declared, That he made his Choice to serve for the Borough of Plympton; and waved his Election for the Borough of Tavestock.

Ordered, That a new Writ be issued, for the Election of a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Tavestock in the County of Devon, in the place of Captain Hatsell, doubly elected: And that Mr. Speaker do send his Warrant to the Clerk of the Commonwealth in Chancery, for the Issuing of a new Writ, for the Election of a Burgess for the Borough of Tavestock, accordingly.

Rodney and Cole.

Ordered, That the Business concerning Mrs. Rodney and Mr. Cole, upon the Report from the Grand Committee for Grievances, be heard on this Day Fortnight.

Scotch Members.

The Debate concerning the Sitting of the Members returned for Scotland was entered upon.

Adjournment.

Resolved, &c. That this House be adjourned until Two of the Clock this Afternoon.

ORDERED, That Mr. Christofer Ceely, one of the Members of this House, shall have Leave to go into the Country, for the Recovery of his Health.
