Scotch Affairs.
THE House, according to former Order, did this Day take into Debate the Business touching Scotland.
Ordered, That it be referred to a Committee to peruse this Declaration of the Parliament of England, in order to the Uniting of Scotland into one Commonwealth with England; and to consider of something to be offered to the House, for their further Consideration, touching that Business: viz. to Major Salwey, Lord Commissioner Whitelock, Lord General, Lord Commissioner Lisle, Colonel Marten, Mr. Scott, Sir Henry Vane, Mr. Darley, Lord Chief Justice St. John, Mr. Wallop, Mr. Hill, Colonel Fielder, Mr. Carew, Mr. Challoner, Mr. Robert Goodwin, Mr. Ralegh, Sir John Trevor, Mr. Nevill, Sir James Harrington, Colonel Purefoy, Mr. Westrow, Colonel Sidney, Mr. Cawley, Alderman Pennington, Mr. Hussey, or any Five of them: To meet in the Speaker's Chamber, at Three of Clock this Afternoon: And to report To morrow Morning, the first Business: And the Lord Commissioner Lisle to take care of it.
