Prayers.
Ambassador from Holland.
SIR Henry Vane junior reports from the Council of State, the Letters of the Lord Hemsted, who is arrived at Gravesend; being sent, from the Lords the States General of the United Provinces, in the Quality of an Extraordinary Ambassador: Which Letter was this Day read.
Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to give Order for the Reception of the Lord of Hemsted, Ambassador Extraordinary from the High and Mighty Lords the States General of the United Provinces, in the Nature of an Extraordinary Ambassador.
Irish Affairs.
Ordered, That the Act touching the Adventurers for Ireland be read on Friday Morning next, the first Business.
Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to consider what may be offered as to the Carrying on of the Affairs in Ireland; and report their Opinion therein to the Parliament.
Supply Bill.
Colonel Downes reports from the Committee of the Army, Amendments to the Bill for the raising of 90,000£. by the Month: Which were this Day read the First and Second time; and, after some Amendments at the Table, assented unto: And
Ordered, That the said Bill, so amended, be ingrossed.
Letter read.
A Letter from Admiral Blake, from the Downes, of the 7th of June 1652, was this Day read.
Army Committee.
Ordered, That the Committee of the Army have the like Power for these next Three Months, for hearing Complaints, with reference to the Assessments, as formerly; and make Report to the Parliament.
Westminster Petition.
The humble Petition of the Inhabitants of the City of Westminster, and Liberties thereof, was this Day read.
Corporations.
Ordered, That the Report from the Committee of Corporations, be made on Friday Sevennight, of the Model of Government of the City of Westminster.
Adjournment.
Ordered, That Mr. Speaker, at the Rising of the House, do adjourn the House until Thursday Morning next, Eight of Clock.
Tenants.
Ordered, That, on Friday Morning next, the Bill for Relief of Tenants against malignant Landlords, be read the Second time.
Articles.
Colonel Rich reports Amendments to the Bill for reviving a former Act for Relief of Persons upon Articles: Which were this Day read the First and Second time.
And the Question being propounded, To agree to the Amendments;
