Prayers.

Committee of Indemnity.

ORDERED, That all Members of the Parliament that come to the Committee, to whom the Act for transferring the Powers in the late Committee of Indemnity into other Persons, is referred, shall have Voices.

Forfeited Estates.

An Act for allowing the Claims of Copyholders and Leaseholders, that have or shall make their Titles appear to the Surveyors for Surveying the Estates of several Persons, forfeited to the Commonwealth for Treason, was this Day read the First Time.

Ordered, That the said Bill be read the Second time on this Day Sevennight.

Delinquents Estates.

Ordered, That the Amendments to the additional Act for Sale of Delinquents Estates, be reported on Thursday Morning next, the first Business.

Letter, &c. read.

Sir Henry Vane junior reports from the Council of State, a Letter from Sir George Ayscough, from Plymouth, of the 1st of June 1652: Which was this Day read.

And the Examination of Captain Philip Marshall, taken before the Mayor of Plymouth, and Sir George Aiscugh, the 31st of May 1652: Which was this Day read.

Ship Marmaduke.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to take into Consideration the Business touching the Ship Marmaduke, brought into Plymouth; and to give Order, as they think fit, both for rewarding those Persons who have been instrumental in that Service, and the Encouragement of others in the like Kind: And that they likewise take care for making this Ship fit for the present Service of the State; and giving such Direction upon the whole Business, as they shall find Cause.

Transactions with Holland.

Sir Henry Vane reports from the Council of State, Two Papers, delivered in to the Council of the Lords Ambassadors extraordinary of the United Provinces: And an Extract out of the Register of the Resolutions of the High and Mighty Lords the States General of the United Provinces, of Thursday the 23d of May 1652: Which were this Day read.-

Navy.

He also reports a List of the Fleet now in the Downes, as the same is now divided into Squadrons: Which was also read.-

Answer to Papers.

Resolved, That the House do give an Answer to these Papers; and that it be referred to the Council of State, to prepare an Answer thereunto, upon the whole Debate now had in the House; and report it to the House.

Resolved, That the House do sit To-morrow; and that this Report be brought in To-morrow Morning, notwithstanding the former Order for not Sitting; and nothing to intervene.

Ordered, That the Papers reported from the Council of State, be returned back to the Council of State.

Public Fast.

Mr. Marten reports an Act for setting apart Wednesday next, for a Day of solemn Fasting and Humiliation within the Cities of London and Middlesex, and late Lines of Communication, and weekly Bills of Mortality; and Wednesday-Three-Weeks, within the other Parts of this Commonwealth; with the Grounds and Reasons thereof; was this Day read the First and Second Time.

And the Question being put, That this Act be ingrossed;

It passed with the Negative.

And the said Act, being put to the Question, passed.
