Prayers.

Serjeant to take Bail.

ORDERED, That the Serjeant at Arms attending the Parliament be, and is hereby, authorized to take Bail of such Persons as stand committed unto him, by any Order of the late Committee of Indemnity.

Fanshaw's, &c. Petition.

The humble Petition of Thomas Fanshaw Esquire, Catherine his Wife, and Henry Ferrers Esquire, Uncle of the said Catherine, was this Day read.

Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Committee formerly appointed to consider of enabling Persons to sell Lands for Payment of Debts, to examine the Business; and report their Opinion therein to the Parliament: And it is further Ordered, That Mr. Robinson, Mr. Nevill, Mr. Smyth, Lieutenant General Fleetwood, Colonel Fielder, Sir Wm. Masham, Sir Henry Mildmay, Lord Grey, Sir Arthure Hesilrig, Mr. Raleigh, be added to that Committee.

Markets.

Ordered, That the Petitions of the Inhabitants of St. Ives, in the County of Huntingdon, and many of the Counties adjacent; and also the Petition of the Inhabitants of the Town of Smithick, in the County of Cornwall; be referred to a Committee, to take the same into Consideration; with Power to receive Petitions of the like Nature: And to consider, in what Places Markets are fit to be set up, and where they are fit to be altered from the Days on which they are now kept; with Power to prepare Acts for setting up Markets in such Places as they shall find necessary or convenient; and also for Alteration of any from the Days they are now held, as they shall see Cause; and present them to the House: viz. to Sir Henry Vane, Mr. Solicitor, Mr. Love, Colonel Morley, Sir John Bourchier, Mr. Edward, Mr. Bond, Mr. Leman, Mr. Robinson, Sir James Harrington, Mr. Challoner, Mr. Smyth, Sir Henry Mildmay, Alderman Atkyn, Mr. Say, Mr. Carew, Mr. Garland, Mr. John Goodwyn, Colonel Peter Temple, Alderman Pennington, Mr. Westrow, Lieutenant General Fleetwood, Mr. Burrell, Sir Wm. Allanson, Mr. Blagrave, Colonel Fielder, Mr. Dormer, Mr. Darley, Alderman Allen, Mr. Holland, Mr. Gratwick, Mr. Hallowes, Mr. Humfrey Salwey; or any Five of them: And all that come, to have Voices: The said Committee are to meet this Afternoon in the Exchequer Chamber; and so de die in diem: And that Mr. Blagrave and Mr. Love do take care of it.

Charterhouse Hospital.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Lord Commissioners of the Great Seal, to consider of the State of the Hospital, commonly called, The Charterhouse, near Kingston upon Hull; and how the same may be visited, and the whole Matter be examined, by Gentlemen of Quality in or near the Town; and to nominate fit Persons to do the same; and to take Order for re-edifying the Buildings, and reducing the Revenue into its proper Chanel, as shall be found meet and necessary for the Benefit of the Hospital: And to issue a Commission under the Great Seal, accordingly; or to take some other Course therein, as they shall think most fit.

Irish Affairs.

The House resumed the Debate Yesterday touching Ireland.
