Prayers.

Greetham, &c. Hospitals.

ORDERED, That Sir Arthure Hesilrige, Sir William Strickland, Sir Thomas Widdrington, and Colonel Fenwick, or any Two of them, be, and are hereby, appointed Visitors of the Hospitals of Greetham and Sherborne, in the County of Duresme: And that the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal of England do grant them a Commission under the Great Seal, accordingly.

Suppressing Ranters.

Mr. Weaver reports Amendments to the Bill against several atheistical, blasphemous, and execrable Opinions; and unlawful Meetings, where such Opinions are vented: Which were this Day read the First and Second time.

And, after several Amendments at the Table, divers Clauses were put to the Question, and agreed; and the Debate on the rest adjourned until This-day-sevennight, the first Business.

Persons to be tried.

Mr. Corbett reports a Bill appointing the Tryal of Sir John Stowell, David Jenkins, Colonel Walter Slingsby, Browne Bushell, Colonel Gerard, and Wm. Davenant, otherwise called Sir Wm. Davenant.

Which was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to Mr. Corbett, Sir James Harrington, Colonel Ludlow, Mr. Scott, Mr. John Goodwin, Colonel Philip Jones, Mr. Leman, Sir Henry Vane, Mr. Carew, Colonel Marten, Major General Harrington, Mr. Trenchard; or any Three of them: And this Committee is to meet in the Speaker's Chamber, at Two of Clock in the Afternoon; and to be brought in, the first Business, on Tuesday Morning next: With Power to bring in a Clause for continuing the said High Court for Three Months longer.

Iden's Case.

Ordered, That it be referred to a Committee, to consider of the Case of Mr. James Iden and Ann his Wife; and to examine the Matter of Fact; and to report it to the House; and to present to the House such Remedies, in this and the like Cases, as they shall think expedient: With Power to the said Committee, if they shall see Cause, to give Directions for the Stay of all Proceedings against them, until the House take further Order; Viz. unto Colonel Rich, Major General Harrison, Mr. Holland, Colonel Marten, Sir John Bourchier, Mr. Corbett, Colonel P. Jones, Colonel Ludlow, Colonel Purefoy, Sir Wm. Masham, Alderman Allen, Lord Grey, Sir James Harrington, Colonel Wayte, Mr. Salway senior, Major General Skippon, Mr. Pury, Mr. Hallows, Mr. Hodges, or any Five of them; to meet at Two of Clock this Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber; and so de die in diem; with Power to send for Persons, Papers, Witnesses: And that Colonel Rich do take care of it.

The House, according to former Order, adjourned itself to Tuesday Morning next Eight of Clock.
