Prayers.
Earl of Salisbury's Claims.
MR. Garland reports from the Committee appointed to consider of the Business of the Earl of Salisburie, the several Resolutions of the said Committee, touching the Interest of the Earl of Salisbury in the Herbage and Pannage in Theobald's Park, Chesthunt Park, and in Endfield Park and Chase in these Words: viz.
"Theobald's Park, and Chesthunt Park."
"Resolved, That the Grant of Herbage and Pannage, in the Patents made to the Earl of Salisbury and Lord Cranborne, 30 Maii, 17° Jacobi, and 8 Octobris, 4 Caroli, are to be taken as incident to the Custody, and not as a distinct Interest.
"Enfield Chase and Park."
"Resolved, That the Grant of Herbage and Pannage, in the Patents made to the Earl of Salisbury, 23 Septembris, 1° Jacobi, and 29 Julii, 20° Jacobi, are to be taken as incident to the Custody, and not as a distinct Interest."
"Resolved, That Mr. Garland be desired forthwith to report to the House the Vote of this Committee, touching Enfield Chase and Park, with the Case and Vote concerning Theobald's Park, and Chesthunt Park."
The humble Petition of Wm. Earl of Salisbury, was this Day read.
Resolved, by the Parliament, That the Grant of Herbage and Pannage of Theobald's and Chesthunt Parks, in the Patents made to the Earl of Salisbury and Lord Cranborne, 30 Maii, 17° Jacobi, and 8 Octobris, 4° Caroli, are to be taken as incident to the Custody, and not as a distinct Interest.
Resolved, That the Grant of Herbage and Pannage of Enfield Chase and Park, in the Patents made to the Earl of Salisbury, 23 Septembris, 1° Jacobi and 29 Julii, 20° Jacobi are to be taken as incident to the Custody, and not as a distinct Interest.
Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee for removing Obstructions in Sale of the Lands of the late King, Queen, and Prince, to consider of the Petition of the Earl of Salisbury, and the Paper therewith presented, and his Demands therein; and report their Opinion to the House, what Allowance is fit to be given for Satisfaction of his Interest, by these several Patents.
Colchester Ministers.
Ordered, That a Bill for Maintenance of Ministers in Colckester be brought in on Friday next, the first Business.
Publick Accompts.
Resolved, That the Report for removing Obstructions in taking Accounts of the Commonwealth be made on Thursday Morning next, after the Bill for Assessments.
Relief of Creditors.
Mr. Say reports from the Committee, Amendments to the Bill for the better Relief of Creditors: Which were twice read.
And the Question being put, for agreeing to this Amendment;
