Prayers.

Sir J. Danvers.

ORDERED, That Major Salway do report the Business touching Sir John Danvers, from Goldsmiths Hall, on Tuesday next, the first Business.

Petition to be read.

Ordered, That the Petition of the late disbanded Commanders and Officers of Horse and Foot, in the Parliament's Service, in the County of Stafford, be read on Tuesday Morning next.

Deans and Chapters Lands.

Ordered, That the Act touching the Treasurers for Deans and Chapters Lands be reported on Wednesday next, the first Business; nothing to intervene.

Publick Accompts.

An Act for taking and receiving the Accompts of the Commonwealth, with Instructions concerning the same, was this Day read the Third time.

Ordered, That the Debate upon the said Act be adjourned until Tuesday Morning next.

Proceedings against Powell, &c.

Mr. Attorney General gave an Account, this Day, to the House, of his Proceedings against such Priests to whom Commissions were directed from the Bishop of Chalcedon; and, in particular, that he sent a Warrant to Rye, for Apprehending of Robert Powell; whereupon be hath been apprehended, and is committed to safe Custody.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to give Instructions to Mr. Attorney General, for his further Proceedings, from time to time, against the said Robert Powell, and such other Persons, to whom Commissions were directed from the Bishop of Chalcedon; which shall hereafter be apprehended: And Mr. Attorney is to proceed in the Prosecution of them accordingly.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to give some Recompence to the Officers who brought up Robert Powell, for their Pains and Charges, as they shall think fit.

Reduced Officers.

An Act, enabling divers reduced Officers, and others, subscribed to a Petition for making Discoveries to the publick Use, and towards their Satisfaction, was this Day read the First time; and ordered to be read the Second time, on Wednesday next.

Grant to Horton, &c.

An Act for settling upon Colonel Horton's Brigade the Lands and Possessions of John Barlow Esquire, formerly given to Major General Langhorne; as also One thousand Pounds per Annum, out of the Lands of William Earl of Newcastle; was this Day read the First and Second time.

Barlow's Petition.

The humble Petition of John Barlow Esquire, on the Behalf of himself and Seven Children, was this Day read.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be committed to the same Committee: And that the same be brought in on Wednesday next.

Crown Lands.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee appointed to consider of the Business of Debentures, upon the Debate of the House, to consider what is fit to be done for Stay of Sale of the Lands of the late King, Queen, and Prince, till the First of December next; and bring in an Act for that Purpose, declaring the Grounds thereof; wherein they are to have Care not to turn any Charge or Prejudice thereby on the Commonwealth; and to report it on Tuesday next.

Spices.

An Act for Liberty to transport Spices ungarbled, was this Day read the Third time; and, upon the Question, passed.

Ship Sancta Clara.

Ordered, That the Report concerning Sancta Clara be made on Wednesday next.

Captain Grundy.

Ordered, That the Petition of Captain Grundy be read on Wednesday next.

Redeeming Captives.

An Act for the Redemption of poor Captives, was this Day read the Second time.

Ordered, That, according to former Order, the House do adjourn itself until Tuesday Morning, Eight a Clock.
