Mr. Foxley.

ORDERED, by the Parliament, That the Report touching Mr. Faxley be made To-morrow Morning, the first Business.

Norfolk Weavers.

An Act for Regulating the Making of Stuffs in Norfolk and Norwich, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, That the Time for electing the Officers in this Act be the last Wednesday in November, instead of the last Wednesday of October.

And the said Act, so amended, upon the Question, passed. And

It is Ordered, That the same be forthwith printed and published.

Carmen.

Ordered, That the Report touching the Carmen be made This-day-sevennight.

Temmerman's Claims.

Major General Skippon reports from the Committee of the Navy;

"That, in pursuance of an Order of Parliament of the Fifteenth of February last, whereby it is referred unto this Committee to examine the State of the Business of Paul Temmerman his Debt of Twelve hundred Pounds; and, if they should find the Debt just, that they do present to the House some Way how it may be satisfied; this Committee, upon reading a Letter and Certificate from the Mayor of Plymouth, do find the said Debt to be just, and so acknowledged by the House in Anno 1644, for Corn and Powder, taken up and employed for the Use of the Garison of Plymouth, being then in Distress, belonging to the said Paul Temmerman, which were then aboard the Ship called the Elizabeth: And therefore do offer it as their Opinion to the House, that the said Debt of Twelve hundred Pounds be charged upon the Receipt at Haberdashers Hall, with Interest for the same from this time; And that the House will be pleased specially to injoin the Payment thereof, with the soonest Opportunity."

Resolved, by the Parliament, That the said Sum of Twelve hundred Pounds, due to Paul Temmerman, for Corn and Powder taken up and employed for the Use of the Garison of Plymouth, be charged upon the Receipt of Haberdashers Hall, in Course: And that the Commissioners of Haberdashers Hall be, and are hereby, authorized and required to give Warrant to the Treasurers at Haberdashers Hall to make Payment of the said Sum of Twelve hundred Pounds to the said Paul Temmerman, or his Assigns, accordingly: And the Acquittance or Acquittances of the said Paul Temmerman, or his Assigns, testifying the Receipt thereof, shall be a sufficient Discharge in that Behalf.

Ordered, That the Report touching Major Withers be made To-morrow Morning, next after the Business of the Law.

Earl of Downe.

Ordered, That the Act touching the Earl of Dawne be reported and read To-morrow Morning.

Mr. Whickers.

Ordered, That the Report touching Mr. Whickers be taken into Consideration This-day-sevennight.

East India Company.

The humble Petition of the Governor and Company of Merchants trading to the East Indies, was this Day read.

Resolved, That this Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Council of State.
