Prayers.

Probate of Wills.

MR. Stephens reports from the Committee to whom the Bill for Probate of Wills was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill: Which were twice read; and, upon the Question, re-committed: And

Ordered, That the Committee be revived; and that they meet this Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber; and so de die in diem: And all that come to have Voices: And that it be brought in This-day-fortnight.

Ordered, That the Debate upon this Report be adjourned until To-morrow Morning Nine of Clock: And that Mr. Speaker do then take the Chair, notwithstanding the former Order.

Resolved, That all the Members of the House, now present, be, and are, required and injoined to give their Attendance here, To-morrow Morning at Nine of Clock.

Irish Affairs.

Resolved, That the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland do make a Relation of the Business of Ireland, and the State of Affairs there.

Accordingly the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, standing in his Place, made a Narrative of the State of the Garisons and Forces of the Enemy in Ireland, and their Interest there; and likewise of the Forces of the Parliament in Garison, and in the Field, and the Condition of them, and in what Employment they are, and under what Commands.

Resolved, That it be referred to the Council of State, to take care of sending such speedy Supplies of Monies for Ireland, as shall be necessary for the Carrying on of that Work; and to see what Monies that are in present View may be made effectual for that Service; and how the Obstructions in bringing in the same may be removed; and to take into their Consideration by what Ways and Means the Reduction and Settlement of Ireland may be perfected to the best Advantage, and future Ease of the Charge, of this Commonwealth.

Delinquents Estates.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill for /?/e of Delinquents Lands is committed be injoined to fit this Afternoon at Two of Clock: And Mr. Attorney General be required to take care of it: And that the Amendments be reported on Thursday-sevennight.

Publick Accompts.

Resolved, That the Report for removing Obstructions in taking the Accompts of the Commonwealth, be made To-morrow.

Embassy from Holland.

Mr. Speaker, (being informed by the Serjeant) acquainted the House, That the Lord Gerard Schaeph, Commissioner from the States of Holland and West Friezland, was ready, and did attend, to present himself to the Parliament.

The Serjeant, with his Mace, went to attend him to the House.

So soon as he was entered within the Doors, as far as the Bar, the Master of the Ceremonies, and the Serjeant, attended him, one at his Right Hand, the other at his Left, until he came to the Chair; which was placed on the North Side of the House, upon a Turkey Carpet, with a Cushion, and one long Cushion in it, and a Foot Stool by it.

The Commissioner sitting (having presented his Credentials to Mr. Speaker, by the Hands of the Master of the Ceremonies), did deliver his Desires, in French, by Word of Mouth.

Mr. Speaker declared to him, That he would make Report thereof to the House: And then the Commissioner, with the Master of the Ceremonies, and the Serjeant at Arms, attending him, withdrew.

After the Commissioner was withdrawn his Letters of Credence were read.

Resolved, That a Report be made, by Mr. Speaker, of what hath been said by the Commissioner from the States of Holland and West Friezland, on Friday Morning next.
