Prayers.

Representation and Elections.

THE House was this Day, according to former Order, resolved into a Grand Committee, touching an equal Representative, and for regulating Elections.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Say took the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Say reports from the said Grand Committee, that the said Grand Committee have adjourned until This-daysevennight; and desire the Leave of this House, that they may sit then.

Ordered, That the House be resolved into a Grand Committee, on This-day-sevennight, touching an equal Representative, and for regulating Elections: And that Mr. Speaker do then forbear to take the Chair.

Ld. Powis' Pension.

Ordered, That the Pension formerly ordered to the Lord Powis, be continued, and paid to him, together with the Arrears, since the same was stopped, until Midsummer next: And that the Commissioners of Goldsmiths Hall, do give Warrant to the Treasurers of Goldsmiths Hall, to make Payment thereof accordingly.

Lady Ranilaugh, &c.

Ordered, That these Words; viz. "and that the Commissioners of Goldsmiths Hall do give Warrant to the Treasurers of Goldsmiths Hall, to make Payment thereof accordingly;" be added to the several Orders made Yesterday touching the Lady Ranilaugh, the Lady Blany, the Lady Jane Spotteswood, and Mrs. Chichester.

Grant to Howard.

Resolved, That Mrs. Howard shall have an Allowance of Twenty Shillings per Week; and that the same be paid by the Treasurers for maimed Soldiers and Widows, until the Parliament take further Order.

Ly. Denny.

Resolved, That the weekly Allowance formerly ordered to the Lady Denny, be continued and paid unto her, together with the Arrears, since the same was stopped, until Midsummer next, for the better enabling her to transport herself and Family into Ireland: And that the Commissioners of Goldsmiths Hall do give Warrant to the Treasurers of Goldsmiths Hall to make Payment thereof accordingly.

Refusal to take Engagement.

Resolved, That it be referred to the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal of England, to examine the Information, this Day given to the House, touching Mr. Job Graye's Refusal to take the Engagement: And if they shall find, that he hath refused to take the same, and hath not taken it within the Time limited, that then Mr. Attorney General be authorized and required to prepare a Patent for granting the Place and Office of Master of the Hospital of Leicester, in common Form, unto Mr. Richard Lee: And the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal are authorized and required to pass the same under the Great Seal accordingly.

Blakiston's Claims.

Ordered, That the Commissioners of Goldsmiths Hall do give Warrant unto the Treasurers at Goldsmiths Hall for Payment of that Money that was formerly ordered to Mr. Blakiston, out of several Scquestrations, out of the Treasury at Goldsmiths Hall.

Officers Petition.

The House being informed, That divers of the Reformado Officers and Soldiers were at the Door;

They were called in: And, after a Preamble made by * Thompson, on the Behalf of himself, and divers others, for whom he was intrusted, he presented a Petition.

Which (after the Petitioners were withdrawn) was read, and was intituled, "The humble Petition of many faithful and well-affected reduced Officers of the Commonwealth, whose Names are hereunto annexed, for whose Satisfaction no Security is yet provided."

Discoveries.

Ordered, That the Bill for Discoveries, in Mr. Stephens' Hand, be read on This-day-sevennight.
