Prayers.

Ministers Maintenance.

ORDERED, That the Amendments to the Bill touching settling the Tenths and First Fruits, for Maintenance of Ministers, be reported on Friday Morning next.

High Court of Justice.

An Act for establishing a High Court of Justice, was this Day read the Third time.

A Proviso was tendered to the said Act, "That this Act, nor any thing therein contained, shall extend to the diminishing or lessening any Power or Authority formerly given to the Lord General, or his Council of War, or to the Generals at Sea, by Authority of Parliament, for the Executing of Martial Law: Which was read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, ordered to be Part of the Act.

And the Act, after some Amendments at the Table, being put to the Question, passed: And

It is Ordered, That the same be forthwith printed and published.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to take care that this Act be published.

City of Norwich.

Ordered, That the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal of England do issue forth a Commission of the Peace, to the Mayor, Recorder, and Steward of Norwich for the Time being, John Rayles, Edmond Boreman, Aarian Permiter, and Henry Watts Aldermen of the said City of Norwich, for the Government within the Close of Christ Church, and the Bishop's Palace, in Norwich.

Removing Delinquents.

Resolved, That the Concernment of Articles of War, so far as the same hath relation to the Act lately passed, intituled, An Act for removing all Papists, and all Officers and Soldiers of Fortune, and divers other Delinquents, from London and Westminster, and confining them, &c. be referred to the Consideration of the Commissioners for Articles; to do therein according to Justice.

Resolved, That Power be given to the Council of State to remove from London and Westminster, and from any Place within Twenty Miles of the same, every such Person or Persons, whose Abode there shall to them appear prejudicial or dangerous to the Safety of the Parliament, or Peace of this Commonwealth: And every such Person and Persons, so ordered, by the Council of State to remove, are injoined to conform thereunto accordingly, upon all and every the Penalties expressed in the late Act, intituled, An Act for removing all Papists, &c. from London and Westminster.

Articles of Pendennis.

Ordered, That the House do take into Consideration the Business touching the Articles upon the Rendition of Pendennis, on Thursday Morning next.

Reduced Officers.

Ordered, That the Petition of the reduced Officers be taken into Consideration on Thursday next, next after the Articles of Pendennis.

Redeeming Captives.

Colonel Thompson reports Amendments to an Act for Redemption to the Captives: Which, being twice read. were, upon the Question, agreed.

And the Question being put, That this Act be ingrossed;

It passed with the Negative.

And the Act, so amended, being put to the Question, passed: And ordered to be printed and published.

George's Reprieve.

The humble Petition of Dennis George, Wife of Christofer George, of Haveringward in the County of Essex, with a Certificate from divers Inhabitants of Haveringward in the County of Essex, on the Behalf of the said Christofer George, was this Day read.

The Question being propounded, That Christofer George, of Haveringward in the County of Essex, be reprieved from Execution till the next Assize;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

It passed in the Affirmative.

And the main Question being put;

It was Resolved, That Christofer George, of Haveringward in the County of Essex, being convicted at the last Assizes for the said County, and condemned, be reprieved from Execution until the next Assizes.
