Leave of Absence.

ORDERED, That Sir Samuell Rolle, a Member of this House, shall have Leave to go into the Country.

Ordered, That Sir John Fenwick, a Member of this House shall have Leave to go into the Country.

Ordered, That Sir Harbottle Grimston, a Member of this House, shall have Leave to go into the Country.

Leigh's Accompts.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee for taking the Accompts of the Kingdom to state and certify the Accompts of Colonel Edward Leigh, a Member of this House.

Great Seal.

Mr. Swynfen reports a Proviso and Instructions, to be added as Amendments to the Ordinance concerning the Disposal of the Custody of the Great Seal into the Hands of Commissioners: The which were twice read; and, upon the Question, re-committed; And are to report on Wednesday next: And are to meet this Afternoon at two of Clock.

Resolved, &c. That the Great Seal of England be continued in the Hands of the Commissioners it is now in, for Twenty Days, to commence from the Expiration of the Time it is now continued: And that the Commission for hearing Causes be likewise continued for the same Term of Twenty Days.

The Lords Concurrence is to be desired herein.

Message to Lords.

Mr. Recorder carried it to the Lords for their Concurrence.

He likewise carried the Ordinance Yesterday passed, for the Judges of North and South Wales, with one Amendment: The Ordinance for Pardon of the Delinquency of Wm. Campion Esquire: And the Articles of Silly.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Colonel Wayte, a Member of this House, shall have Leave to go into the Country.

Raising Monies.

An Ordinance for the raising of Monies to be employed towards the Maintenance of Forces within this Kingdom, under the Command of Sir Thomas Fairfax Knight; and for the speedy Transporting of a great Part of the Army into Ireland: and the Paying and Supplying of the Army and Forces, which are and shall be employed in the War of Ireland; was this Day read the First time.

Adjournment.

Resolved, &c. That the House shall adjourn itself from Friday Noon till Tuesday Morning, Eight of Clock, every Week, till the House take further Order: And that this Adjournment begin on Friday next come Sevennight.

Ordered, That the Lords be acquainted with this Resolution.

Paper from Scotts Commissioners.

A Paper from the Commissioners of Scotland, of 18 Martii in Answer to an Order of this House, communicated by the Members of this House that are of the Committee of both Kingdoms to the Scotts Commissioners, desiring to know, when the Commissioners of the Parliament of Scotland will be here, touching the Propositions with the King, was this Day read.

House to be surveyed.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to the Committee of the Revenue to appoint Surveyors to view this House; and to consider, how the noisome Inconveniences, that are occasioned by the Houses of Office, may be remedied.

Answer from Lords.

Mr. Recorder brings Answer, That the Lords do agree to the Continuance of the Custody of the Great Seal, and the Commission, for Twenty Days longer than the Time it is now continued for; and to the Amendment to the Ordinance concerning the Justices of North Wales and South Wales: To the rest, they will send Answer by Messengers of their own.

Citizens Petition.

The humble Petition of many well-affected Citizens was this Day read: And likewise a Certificate annexed, directed "To the honourable the Committee of Parliament, sitting in the Queen's Court at Westminster, Colonel Leigh being Chairman;" and styled, "The humble Certificate of divers Persons here present, interested in and avouching the Petition, lately referred to this Committee by the Right honourable House of Commons,"

Resolved, &c. That this House do take this Petition into Consideration on Wednesday next.
