Leave of Absence.

ORDERED, That Colonel Rainsborough shall have Leave to go into the Country.

Ordered, That Sir Edward Aiscough shall have Leave to go into the Country.

Tryals for Facts during the War.

Upon Consideration of the Order made Yesterday, concerning the Judges not proceeding to Tryal against such Persons as shall be brought before them, upon any Fact committed by them in tempore & loco belli, in pursuance and Obedience of any Ordinance of Parliament;

It is Ordered, That Matters appearing upon Proof, that the Parties have commtted the Fact they are questioned for, in tempore & loco belli, in pursuance and Obedience of any Ordinance of Parliament, that the Parties be discharged: And that the Judges do give so much in Charge and Directions to the Jurors.

Rossetor's Accompts.

Ordered, That Colonel Rossetor be referred to the Committee for taking the Accompts of the Kingdom, to state and certify his Accompts.

Respiting Tryals.

An Ordinance sent from the Lords, for the Respiting of Tryals or Judgments in criminal Causes, for those that have acted in these Wars in a hostile manner, until the Pleasure of both Houses of Parliament be known, was this Day read the First time; and ordered to be read the Second time on Saturday come Sevennight.

Irish Affairs.

Ordered, That the same Order that was made concerning Ireland, for this Day, be adjourned till Monday next, and then taken into Consideration in manner as it should have been this Day: And that the Committee for the Affairs of Ireland, at Derby House, do meet this Afternoon; and consider of, and prepare such things as are fit to be tendered to the House, upon the Matters referred unto them.

Garisons.

It is further Ordered, That the House do now shall into the Consideration of the Order appointed for Yesterday, touching the Commanders and Officers in the several Garisons voted to be kept up.

Resolved, &c. That, in Consideration of the Garisons, the House do first proceed to the Consideration of the Persons.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth allow of Colonel Richard Fortescue to be Governor of Pendennis Castle.

The Question was propounded, That Lieutenant Anthony Buller shall be Governor of the Isle of Silly.

The Question being put, Whether this Question shall be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth nominate and appoint Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Buller to be Governor of the Isle of Sylly.

The Question was propounded, That Colonel Anthony Rous shall have a Thousand Pounds paid him, upon Accompt, towards his Arrears, upon his Entertainment in the Service of the Parliament.

And the Question being put, Whether this Question shall be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

Resolved, &c. That Colonel Anthony Rouse shall have a Thousand Pounds paid him, upon Accompt, towards his Arrears, upon his Entertainment in the Service of the Parliament: And that this Thousand Pounds be charged upon the Receipts at Goldsmiths Hall, in Course.

The Lords Concurrence to be desired herein.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth nominate and appoint Colonel Santaubin to be Captain of the Mount.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth nominate and appoint Captain Wm. Rous to be Captain of the Dennys.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth nominate and appoint Lieutenant Colonel George Kekewiche to be Governor of St. Mawes.

Ordered, That the House do, To-morrow Morning, proceed in the Business for Settlement of Governors of the Garisons, according to the Order of this Day.
