PRAYERS.

Gloucester &c. Forces.

AN Ordinance to Sir Wm. Waller Serjeant Major of the Counties of Gloucester, Salop, Wiltess, Salop, and Worcester, for the Raising of Monies to maintain the Forces. Forces raised in these Counties, was this Day read; and, by Vote upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be sent to the Lords, for their Concurrence, by Mr. Strode.

Ordered, That the Deputy Lieutenants, and the Committees in Sommersettshire, do presently disarm the Houses of Sir Ralph Hopton at Wytham, and of Sir Edw. Rodney at Pilton, and of all other malignant and disaffected Persons in that County; and send up such malignant and disaffected Persons as they shall find in any of the said Houses standing upon their Guard, in Opposition to the Ordinances and Proceedings of Parliament.

Hantshire Forces.

An Ordinance for Hantshire, for Raising of Two Troops of Horse, and a Regiment of Dragooners, for the Defence of that County; and for Raising of Monies for the Maintenance of those Forces; was this Day read; and, by Vote upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be sent unto the Lords, for their Concurrence, by Mr. Strode.

Delinquents Estates.

Ordered, That Mr. Millington do prepare an Ordinance to enable the Deputy Lieutenants and Committees of the County of Nottingham to seize upon the Goods and Rents of all such as are in actual Rebellion or Action against King and Parliament; and of such as have aided, assisted, or contributed unto them; and that those Goods and Rents may be employed to the publick Service, to the King and Parliament.

St. Martin's Vintree Parsonage.

An Ordinance for Sequestring the Parsonage of St. Martins Vintree, London, from Dr. Reeve, now Parson thereof; and for Placing of Mr. Salloway, Master of Arts, therein; and for allowing him the Profits thereof; was this Day read; and, by Vote upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be sent unto the Lords for their Concurrence.

Assessing Malignants, &c.

Resolved, &c. That this Clause shall be added to the Ordinance for Assessing of Malignants, and such as have not contributed at all, or not according to their Abilities; viz. "Lastly, Be it Ordained, That where no Committees are, by this Ordinance, named for any County, City, or Place, that such other Committees as shall be hereafter nominated by both Houses, or any Two of them, shall and may put this Ordinance in Execution within any such County, City, or Place, in such Manner and Form as the Committees herein named, or any Two of them, may, according to the Purport and true Meaning thereof."

Message to Lords.

Mr. Serjeant Wilde was appointed to carry up this Ordinance; and likewise the Declaration concerning the Bailing of such Prisoners as are committed by the Parliament: But the Lords were risen, before he came up to them.

Prisoner discharged.

Upon the Report from the Committee for Prisoners, this Day made by Sir Robert Harley;

It is Resolved, upon the Question, That Captain Foulke, now a Prisoner, be forthwith released and discharged from any farther Imprisonment or Restraint.

Treaty with the King.

The House resumed the Debate of his Majesty's Answer to the Propositions.

The Question being put, Whether a present Treaty upon the Propositions, before the Disbanding of the Armies, shall be first taken into Debate;

The Question being put, Whether there shall be a present Cessation of Arms, in Order to the Treaty upon the Propositions, before the Disbanding of the Armies;

Ordered, That To-morrow Morning at Ten of Clock, the House shall take up the Debate of a present Treaty upon the Propositions before the Disbanding of both Armies.

Resolved; &c. That when his Majesty shall have assented to a Disbanding, to the Time and Manner of Disbanding, that then a Time shall be agreed on for a Cessation of Arms, in Order to the Disbanding.
