Committees.

The Committees for Deputy Lieutenants, and Ship-money, to stand.

Naturalization.

The humble Petition of the Merchants Adventurers, concerning the Naturalization of Merchants-strangers, was read; and referred to the Committee for Peter Heren and Hoet, & al. Naturalization.

And Sir Arth. Ingram is added to that Committee.

St. Ethelborough Parish.

The Petition of the Parishioners of St. Ethelborough, London, referred to the Committee for the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Monopolists.

Mr. Perd reports from the Committee for Monopolists, these Four Cases ensuing:

And, upon his Report it was

Resolved, upon the Question, That Mr. Wm. Sandys is within the Order made against Monopolists; and not fit, nor ought to sit as a Member in the House, this Parliament: And that a Warrant issue forth, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, to the Clerk of the Crown, for a new Writ for electing of another to serve for the Town of Evesham in Com. Wigorn', in his stead.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Sir Jo. Jacob is a Monopolist, and Projector in the Business of Tobacco, and within the Order against Monopolists; and ought not to sit as a Member in the House, this Parliament: And that a Warrant issue forth, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown, for a new Writ for electing of another to serve in his stead, this Parliament, for the Town of Rye in Sussex.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Mr. Tho. Webb is interested in the Project and Monopoly concerning the Sealing of Bone-lace, and within the Order of this House made against Monopolists; and ought not to sit as a Member in this House, this Parliament: And that a Warrant issue forth, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown, for a new Writ for electing of another to serve in his stead, this Parliament.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Mr. Edmund Windham is a Monopolist and Projector, and within the Order made against Monopolists; and ought not to sit as a Member in this House, this Parliament: And that a Warrant issue forth, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown, for a new Writ for electing of another Burgess to serve in his stead, this Parliament, for Bridgewater in the County of Somersett.

Charge against E. of Straford.

Ordered, That the Committee, appointed to draw up the Charge against the Earl of Straford, do take some Course, that all those, who have complained here against the said Earl, and whose Businesses are fully perfected, and those likewise, whose Businesses are not yet fully perfected, may have Reparations for their particular Damages and Losses sustained.-

Monopolists.

Ordered, That Mr. Perd do proceed in his Report, concerning Monopolists, To-morrow Morning.

Demands of the Scots.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the House shall be resolved into a Committee To-morrow Morning at Nine of Clock, to take into farther Consideration the Demands of the Scots.

Bibles, &c in High Commission Court.

Ordered, That a Warrant issue, under Mr. Speaker's Hands, to require the Register of the High Commission Court, forthwith to deliver, into the Custody of the Clerk of this House, all such Bibles and other Books, as are remaining and detained in his Hands, by Colour of a Warrant from the High Commission Court; that they may remain in safe Custody with the Clerk of this House, till this House shall otherwise dispose of them.

Warrant against Kemp.

Ordered, That a Warrant issue forth, under Mr. Speaker's Hands, directed to the Serjeant at Arms attending on this House, thereby requiring him, forthwith to attach Mr. Rich. Kemp, and him to keep in safe Custody, till he put in good Security to be forthcoming, to answer such Complaints, as are or shall be exhibited here against him.
