PRAYERS.

Rich's Petition.

ORDERED, That Samuel Rich Clerk, upon a Motion this Day made on his Behalf, shall have Liberty to withdraw his Petition, which he formerly exhibited to the Committee for Courts of Justice.

Jaye's Petition.

Ordered, That Mr. Jaye's Petition, now with the Committee for Grievances, shall be delivered unto him, to the End he may prefer it to the Lords, where the Party, that he complains of, has preferred a Petition against him.

Committee for Petitions.

Ordered, That the Committee for sorting Petitions, now sine die, do meet on Thursday next, at Two of Clock, in the Exchequer-chamber.

Petitions from Carnarvon, &c.

Ordered, That the Petitions of Tho. Glynne Esquire, and the Petition of the Burgesses and Freemen of the Boroughs of Carnarvon and Conway, in the County of Carnarvon, be referred to the Committee for Sir Lewis Dives' Petition.

Child's Creditors.

Ordered, upon the Question, That the Petition of the Creditors of Wm. Child, Scrivener, be referred to the Committee for Grievances; with a particular Recommendation from this House to that Committee, to consider of it in convenient Time.

Ship-money.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee for the rigorous Levying of Ship-money, to consider what Particulars they think, in their Judgments, are fit to be proceeded in; and to present them to the House.

Articles against the Lord Finch.

The Articles against Jo. Lord Finch of Fordwitch, late Lord Keeper, were all read; and every one of them particularly voted and resolved, upon the Question; and ordered to be ingrossed against Wednesday Morning next.

Ship-money.

Mr. St. Johns is, at the same time, to carry up the Business of the Ship-money: And the Clerk is to wait upon with the Transcripts of those Matters in the mean time.

Lord Finch.

The Lord Falkland is to go up with the Articles against the late Lord Keeper.

ArmySupply, &c.

Mr. Treasurer, Sir Jo. Colpepper, Mr. Hollys, Sir Peter Hayman, Sir Jo. Hotham, Sir Tho. Widdrington, Mr. Palmer, Mr. Kirton, Sir Jo. Strangewayes, Lord Fairefax, Col. Ogle, Sir Jo. Merrick, Commissary Willmott, Sir Geo. Dallston, Col. Ashburneham, Mr. Pimme, Sir Hugh Cholmly, Sir H. Anderson, Sir Edw. Hungerford;

This Committee is presently to retire into the Court of Wards to consider of some fit and speedy Course for Providing of Money for the King's Army, and regulating of the same.

Lieutenant Colonel Ballard is to attend the same Committee.

Earl of Craford's Petition.

The Earl of Craford's Petition is referred to the Committee last appointed to consider of the State of the King's Army; to consider, whether they have been paid to the Time of their Discharge.

Advance from Customs.

Ordered, That a Letter, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, be directed to those, that were Customers and Farmers of the Customs for the last Year, and are this Year, and are agreed to be the next Year, and to Mr. Toomes, to attend the House To-morrow at Eight of Clock; intimating unto them, that 'tis for the Advancing of Sixty thousand Pounds, for the Service of his Majesty and the Commonwealth: And for their Security, both for the Principal and Interest, it shall be provided in the Bill of Subsidies in the like manner, as it is for others, that have already advanced Money.

Hatfield Manor.

The Bill concerning the Manor of Hatfield in Yorkeshire to be read To-morrow Morning.

Subsidies.

The Amendments to the Bill of Subsidies were all twice read: And, upon the Question, the Bill was ordered to be ingrossed.
