Cockermouth Petition.

ORDERED, That the Petition of Cockermouth, in the County of Cumberland be referred to the Committee for Privileges.

Person sent for.

Ordered, That the Order, Yesterday made, for the sending for the Sheriff of the County of Carnarvon, shall stand.

De la Place's Petition.

The Petition of Samuel de la Place was read; and he, being called in, did avow his Petition: And then it was

Ordered, That Mr. David Bandinell, Dean of the Isle of Jersey, informed against, in the same Petition, of very heinous Crimes, be forthwith sent for, as a Delinquent, by the Serjeant at Arms attending on this House; and that the Petition be referred to the Committee that is to inquire after scandalous Ministers: And Mr. Comptroller and Mr. Tho. Jermyn are added to this Committee.

Subsidies.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker leave the Chair; and that the Committee proceed to the Reading of the Bill of Subsidies.

Mr. Speaker re-assumed the Chair (a Message coming from the Lords.)-

Treaty with Scotland.

A Message from the Lords, by Baron Henden and Judge Foster;

That their Lordships desire a Conference, by a Committee of both Houses, concerning the Treaty between the Two Kingdoms, presently in the Painted Chamber, if it may stand with the Conveniency of this House.

Answer returned, by the same Messengers; that this House has taken into Consideration their Lordships Message; and will give them a Meeting presently, in the Painted Chamber, as is desired.

Mr. Treasurer, Mr. Hollys, Mr. Glyn, Sir Jo. Culpepper, Mr. Whittlock, Mr. Maynard, are appointed Reporters of this Conference.

Ordered, That this Report be made on Monday Morning at Nine of Clock; and that, when the Subsidy Bill is done, Mr. Pimme shall go on with the Two Reports, concerning the Irish Affairs.-

Webley Election.

Ordered, That a Warrant issue forth under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, for the Electing and Returning of a Burgess, to serve for Webley in the County of Hereford, in the Place and Stead of Mr. Tomkins, formerly returned a Burgess for that Place, and since deceased.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker be here this Afternoon, at Two of Clock; and that the Committee of the whole House proceed to the Reading of the Bill of Subsidies; and that all Committees, appointed to sit this Afternoon, shall sit on Monday in the Afternoon, in the Places formerly appointed.
