ORDERED, That Edward Rockell be forthwith sent for, as a Delinquent, by the Serjeant at Arms attending on this House, for speaking divers scandalous Words against Mr. Nicholls, a Member of this House, concerning his Election.

Barrington, Mr. Wheeler, Mr. Cage, Mr. Hide, Sir Hen. Worseley, Mr. Whitehead, and the Knights and Burgesses for Hamshire: And are to meet on Tuesday come Fortnight in the Duchy-court, at Two post meridiem.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Consideration of the Votes presented from the Committee concerning the Customers, shall be resumed To-morrow Morning at Nine of Clock: And that Mr. Speaker shall then put the House in mind of this Order.

Army Supply, &c.
Ordered, That, out of the Eighty thousand Pounds, last lent by the City of London, Fifty thousand Pounds thereof be disposed, upon Account, for the Use of the King's Army and Garisons: And that the Lord General be moved to give Order to the Commanders in the King's Army, before this Sum of Fifty thousand Pounds shall go out of their Hands, that they take course the Country be paid, according to this Proportion, for a Month's Billet, towards their Arrear; That which was first due to be first paid, and the Soldiers the rest.
And it is further Ordered, That, forasmuch as it stands with Justice, that all such Soldiers as have been dead, or are departed from the Army, since the last Muster, and have had either Entertainment from their Officers, or Billet from the Country, should be paid; therefore, the Entertainment of such dead or departed Soldiers shall be paid to the Officer or Inhabitants respectively, for so long time, as it can be made appear to the Parties employed to take the said Account, that they did continue in the Army.
And it is likewise Ordered, That the Payment be made, according to the last Muster.
And it is likewise Ordered, That, of the Thirty thousand Pounds, ordered to be paid into the Hands of the Earl of Warwicke, Twenty-six thousand Pounds shall be paid for the Relief of the Northern Counties; and Four thousand Pounds for the Scottish Shipping.
Post Meridiem
Fuller's Earth.
THERE was a Report made, concerning Fullers Earth: And thereupon, it is Ordered, by the House of Commons, that the One hundred and Thirty Chaldron of Fullers Earth, that is in Arrear for the Counties of Essex and Suffolk, for the last Year, shall be forthwith delivered according to the Order made at the Councilboard, the Twenty-sixth of June 1640.
And it is further Ordered, That One hundred Chaldron of Fullers Earth be, according to the said Lords Order, delivered this Summer, for the said Two Counties of Suffolk and Essex; whereof, Two hundred Chaldron in the Month, in the said Lords Order specified (Part of the Five hundred Chaldron) are to be delivered at the Towns of Colchester and Maulden, for the said County of Essex: And the Two hundred Chaldron, Residue of the Five hundred Chaldron, for the said County of Suffolk, are to be delivered as followeth; that is to say, One hundred and Forty Chaldron thereof, at Maningtree; and Sixty Chaldron at the Town of Ipswich: The said several Towns of Colchester, Maulden, Maningtree and Ipswich, respectively, giving good Security, as in the Lords Order is contained, that none of the said Fullers Earth brought or to be brought to the said respective Towns, shall be transported beyond the Seas.
Tavistock Writ.
Ordered, That Mr. Speaker shall issue forth a Warrant under his Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown, for a new Writ, for Electing of a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Town of Tavistocke in the County of Devon, in the Room and Stead of the Lord Russell, now Earl of Bedford, by the Decease of his Father, and thereby called to the House of Lords.
Loan from the City.
Ordered, That the Citizens that serve for the City shall move the Lord Mayor, Aldermen, and Citizens, that formerly lent Fifty thousand Pounds, and Sixty thousand Pounds, for the Service of the Kingdom, to continue the Loan of those several Sums of Fifty thousand Pounds, and Sixty thousand Pounds, upon the same Consideration, for a Year and a half longer; and that they shall be repaid out of the Four hundred thousand Pounds last resolved to be raised for the present Necessities of the Kingdom.
Army Supply.
Ordered, That out of the Eighty thousand Pounds last lent by the City of London, Fifty thousand Pounds thereof be disposed, upon Account, for the Use of the King's Army and Garisons.
