Reversing Walcott's Attainder.

AN ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act For reversing the Attainder of Thomas Walcott, Gentleman was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Watts' Nat.

An Act for Naturalizing William Watts, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Norwich Court of Conscience.

A Bill for erecting a Court of Conscience at Norwich, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Sir Nevill Catlyn, Mr. Parker, Mr. Blowfeild, Sir Rob. Rich, Mr. England, Mr. Reynell, Sir Cha. Bloys, Mr. P. Foley, Sir Rich. Harte, Mr. Bockland, Mr. Arnold, Sir John Cotton, Mr. Baldwyn, Mr. Baile, Sir Fra. Russell, Sir Tho. Darcy, Mr. Christy, Sir Wm. London Orphans.

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill for Relief of the Orphans of the City of London.

Westminster, &c. Courts of Conscience.

A Bill for erecting Courts of Conscience in the City of Westminster, Borough of Southwarke, Tower Hamlets, and Out Parishes of the City of London, was read the Second time.

And the Lady Russell having presented a Petition to the House against the said Bill, the first of November Instant;

Ordered, That the Lady Russell be heard at the Bar of this House upon Thursday next.

Punishing Mutiny and Desertion.

An ingrossed Bill, sent down from the Lords, intituled, An Act for punishing Officers or Soldiers who shall mutiny or desert their Majesties Service, and for punishing false Musters, was read the Second time.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Miles Cooke, and Mr. Methwyn;

Mr. Speaker, We are commanded by the Lords to deliver this Message, That John Wildman, Esquire, may have Leave to come to the Lords Committees, who are appointed to consider, Who are the Advisers and Prosecutors of the Murders of the Lord Russell, Colonel Sidney, and others, to declare his Knowledge concerning these Matters.

And then the Messengers withdrew.

Resolved, That the said John Wildman have Leave to go, as is desired.

And the Messengers were called in again: And Mr. Speaker acquainted them therewith.

War Expences.

Sir John Guise acquaints the House, That he, was directed by the Committee to whom it was referred to inspect the Expences of the War for the last Year, and to know, What Number of Men were in every particular Regiment and Company, and at what time they were mustered, That Mr. Hamden did deliver the Papers relating to the Musters to the Chairman of the said Committee.

Ordered, That Mr. Hamden do deliver to Sir John Guise, the Chairman of the Committee appointed to inspect the Expences of the War the last Year, and to know, What Number of Men were in every particular Regiment and Company, and at what time they were mustered, the Papers in his Hands relating to the Musters now remaining in his Hands.

Deficiency in Ordnance Office.

Sir Henry Goodrick, acquaints the House, That he had a Petition from such as used to furnish the Office of Ordnance with Stores, which was presented to that Board; by which they desired to be furnished with Monies, that they might be enabled to support their Credits and to continue to supply Stores for that Office: And that his Majesty had directed him to lay the Matter before this House.

And a Debate arising in the House, touching that Matter;

Resolved, That the House do, upon Tuesday Morning, next, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of the State of the Nation.

Abuse in Convoys.

Ordered, That Captain Emanuell Hudson, John Champneys, John Hill, Wm. Hill, Wm. Parish, John Woodfin, Walter Deane, Captain Thorpe, John Gilbert, John Ware, James Braines, Benj. James, Henry Sturt, Dan. Gould, Captain Bullock, Benjamin Gillam, Wm. Kellenger, Captain Horrell, Captain Hooper, be summoned to attend this House upon Monday Morning next, when the Complaints made by the Merchants of London, of Abuses committed by Captains of their Majesties Ships, in exacting Monies for convoying Merchants Ships, is to be heard at the Bar of this House.

Silk and Woolen Manufactures.

Ordered, That the Lord Castleton and Sir Wm. Ellis be added to the Committee who are appointed to consider of the best Way for improving the Silk and Woolen Manufactures of this Nation.
