A BILL for Relief of poor Prisoners, was read the Second time.

T. Williams' Estate.

An ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the raising of Money out of the Estate of Thomas Williams, Esquire, deceased, by letting Leases, and otherwise, for the more speedy Payment of his Debts, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Mr. Boscawen, Mr. Roberts, Sir Cha. Windham, Mr. Waller, Mr. Baile, Mr. Vincent, Sir Walter Young, Mr. Beare, Mr. Pollexfen, Mr. Pitt, Mr. Courtney, Mr. Onslow, Sir Wm. Drake, Sir Tho. Darcy, Sir Edward Aiscough, Mr. Hedger, Mr. Christie, Mr. Rich. How, Mr. Blowfeild, Sir Wm. Cooke, Mr. Cooke, Mr. England, Mr. Price, Mr. Waller, Mr. Freeke, Mr. Foot, Mr. Kenyon, Mr. Greenfeild, Mr. Thornhaugh, Sir Sam. Bernadiston, Sir Rob. Annulling Campbell's Marriage.

Mr. Harley reported from the Committee to whom the Bill for annulling and making void a Marriage between Mary Wharton, an Infant, and James Campbell, Esquire, was committed, That they had agreed to some Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards, delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and then a Second time one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Bernadiston's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill for freeing the Estate of Sir Sam. Bernadiston, Baronet, from several Incumbrances, occasioned by a Judgment given against him upon an Information in the Court of King's Bench, was read the Third time.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for freeing the Estate of Sir Sam. Bernadiston, Baronet, from several Incumbrances, occasioned by a Judgment given against him upon an Information in the Court of King's Bench.

Ordered, That Sir Tho. Littleton do carry the Bill to the Lords; and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

London Corporation.

Then, according to the Order of the Day, the Lord Mayor and Aldermen of the City of London, and their Counsel; and the Members of the Common Council of the said City, subscribing the Petition formerly presented to the House, and their Counsel; were called in.

Whereupon the Petition, and the Order thereupon, was read.

And the Petitioners Counsel were heard, and divers Witnesses were examined, touching the Matter of the said Petition.

And the Lord Mayor and Aldermen, and their Counsel, being withdrawn, and also the Petitioners, and their Counsel;

Ordered, That the Lord Mayor and Aldermen, and their Counsel, be heard at the Bar of this House Tomorrow Morning at Ten a Clock, touching the Matter of the said Petition; and nothing to intervene.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be adjourned.

Debtors Escapes.

Ordered, That all the Gentlemen of the Long Robe be added to the Committee to whom the Bill for the better preventing the Escapes of Prisoners in the Prisons of the King's Bench and the Fleet, is committed.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, at Ten of the Clock.
