Prayers.

Dr. Sharpe thanked.

RESOLVED, Nemine contradicente, That the Thanks of this House be given to Dr. Sharpe, Dean of Norwich, for the Sermon he preached before this House on Wednesday last; and that he be desired to print his Sermon.

Ordered, That Sir John Knight, and Mr. Auditor Done, do acquaint him with such the Thanks and Desire of this House.

Dr. Burnet thanked.

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the Thanks of this House be given to Dr. Burnet, for the Sermon he preached before this House Yesterday; and that he be desired to print his Sermon.

Ordered, That Mr. Dalben, do acquaint him with such the Thanks and Desire of this House.

Thetford Vacancy.

William Harbord, Esquire, being chosen a Member to serve in this present Convention, as well for the Borough of Lanceston, in the County of Cornewall, as for the Borough of Thetford, in the County of Norfolke, and the Borough of Scarborough, in the County of Yorke, made his Election to serve for the said Borough of Lanceston.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do make Application, by his Letter, to his Highness the Prince of Orange, to issue out his Highness's Letter, for electing a Burgess to serve in this present Convention, for the said Borough of Thetford in the County of Norfolke, in the room of the said Mr. Harbord.

Ditto.

Sir Henry Hobart, Baronet, acquainting the House, that he is chosen to serve in this present Convention, as well for the County of Norfolke, as for the Borough of Thetford in the same County, made his Election to serve as Knight of the Shire for the said County:

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do make Application, by his Letter, to his Highness the Prince of Orange, to issue out his Highness's Letter, for electing a Burgess to serve in this present Convention for the said Borough of Thetford, in the room of the said Sir Henry Hobart.

Scarborough Vacancy.

A Motion being made, that in regard William Harbord had this Day made his Election to serve as Burgess for the Borough of Lanceston in the County of Cornwall, being also elected a Burgess for the Borough of Scarborough in the County of Yorke;

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do make Application to his Highness the Prince of Orange, to issue out his Highness's Letter, for electing a Burgess to serve in this present Convention for the said Borough of Scarborough, in the room of the said Mr. Harbord.

The Clergy thanked.

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the Thanks of this House be given to the Clergy of the Church of England, who have preached and written against Popery; and refused to read in their Churches, the King's Declaration for Toleration in Opposition to the pretended Dispensing Power claimed in the late Reign of King James the Second; and have opposed the illegal Ecclesiastical Commission.

Ordered, That Mr. Leveson Gowre, and Mr. Auditor Done do attend the Two Archbishops, with the said Resolve, to the End their Graces may communicate the same to the Clergy of their respective Provinces.

The Army and Navy thanked.

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the Thanks of this House be given to the Officers, Soldiers, and Marines, in the Army and Fleet, for having testified their steady Adherence to the Protestant Religion, and been instrumental in delivering this Kingdom from Popery and Slavery; and also to all such who have appeared in Arms for that Purpose.

Ordered, That the Lord Falkland, Mr. Sidney, Mr. Wharton, and Sir John Lowther, do communicate such the Thanks of this House, to the General Officers of the Army and Fleet.

A Motion being made, before Twelve a Clock, That the House will adjourn until To-morrow Morning;
