Union with Scotland.

A select Committee moved, and named, to consider of, and prepare, such Matters as were to be propounded and handled in the Conference intended with the Lords; viz. Mr. Attorney-general, Mr. Solicitor, Sir Francis Hastings, Sir Francis Bacon, Mr. Recorder of London, Mr. Serjeant Shirley, Sir Chro. Perkins, Mr. Hyde, Mr. Brock, Sir Edwyn Sandys, Sir Edward Mountague, Sir Herbert Crofts, Sir Edward Hobby, Mr. Crewe, Mr. Fuller, Mr. Francis Moore, Sir Geo. Moore, Sir Maurice Berkley, Sir Nath. Bacon, Sir Roger Owen, Mr. Yelverton, Mr. Brook, Mr. Noye, Mr. Holt, Mr. Diggs, Mr. Hedley, Mr. Martin, Mr. Wentworth, Mr. Dammett.

These Committees are to assemble, and consider of such Proceedings as have been in the House, touching the Matters of Hostility, and of Commerce, contained in the Instrument of the Union; as also, what Course is to be held in the Conference intended with the Lords, touching those Points; and to make Report of their Opinions to the House; that they may receive Direction accordingly: - To meet, for this Purpose, Tomorrow Morning, at Seven a Clock, in the Committee Chamber.

Shipping.

Mr. Diggs maketh Report of the Travel of the Committee in the Matter of Shipping; and openeth the Course, Purport, and Meaning of divers Statutes in the Reign of sundry Kings, touching Ships and Shipping; viz. 5 R. II. ca. 3. 14 R. II. 1 H. VII.
