Mr. Hyde; - The Articles being already, by Question, agreed on, should not be more spoken unto, until it come in a Bill.

Sir Geo. Moore: - A Sub-committee to draw the Oaths into One.

5. Article, touching the Arms of Recusants : - For Alteration : - Not under the Number of Four Justices,

The Lords have a Bill for that Purpose.

7. Touching Discovery to be within Three Days: - Reward : - Tertiam partem.

8. Christening of Children : - Where the Child shall be infirm, there the lawful Minister of the Parish.

9. Touching Recusants practising Law, &c. - Except such Persons, as come themselves to the Church.

Sir John Shirley - Captains, of Bands, of Ships, of Forts. - To be propounded to the Lords again.

10. Disability to present to any Recusant, or to the Use of any Recusant. -

Sir John Hollice: - A great Tie upon such as are Mariners.

12. Touching Marriage and Burial. -

A Penalty upon those that have no Land.

Burial: - Upon an Executor, if he know it.

13. Education of Children.

The Estate wholly left to the Justices of Pfeace.

This Article left unresolved.

Objections : - Danger, - Scandal.

Sir H. Mountague: - To extend both to Sons and Daughters. -

Where the Husband is a Protestant, and receives the Communion. -

Such Objections as are moved, to be propounded to the Lords.

Sir H. Hubbard: - This Article, cardo causae. -

Whether to the eldest, or all Brethren and Sisters. -

So much as shall be fit for the common Service : - Such as be likeliest to grow forward. -

The Profits of the Recusants Land to be made a Bank, or a common Store-house. -

As a leprous Man to be used for fear of Contagion.

Mr. Crewe: - All the Articles to stand as they be, until they be put into a Bill.
