Privilege-Jurisdiction in Elections.

Mr. Speaker with a great Number of the House, assembled at Six a Clock this Morning, with a Purpose to treat and resolve what should be delivered to his Majesty (being appointed to attend him the same Morning at Eight a Clock) touching the Reasons of their Proceeding in Sir Francis Goodwin's Case; but because the House was not then thought full enough for a Matter of that Consequence, they proceeded to the Reading of Bills.

Sea-coast Towns, &c.

L. 1. B. For the Re-edifying of all decayed Sea-coast Towns, and for Increase of Shipping and Mariners within the Realm, of England.

Forcible Entry.

These Two Bills, upon this second Reading, were both committed to Sir Francis Carew, Vice-chamberlain to the Queen, Sir Francis Bacon, Sir George Moore, Sir Edward Hobbie, Sir Thomas Walles, Mr. Overbury, Sir Nathaniel Bacon, Sir Richard Barkley, Sir Robert Napper, all the Serjeants at Law, Mr. Lawrence Hide, Sir Edward Mountague, Sir Richard Spencer, Mr. Francis Moore: - To meet on Monday, at Two a Clock in the Afternoon, in the Inner Temple Hall.

Upon Motion touching Mr. Speaker's Attendance on the King, a Committee was named to accompany him ; viz.
