Huntley's Imprisonment.

Report from the grand Committee for Courts of Justice. A Petition from George

Huntley, Clerk, committed by the High Commission, and their Prisoner 11 Months.

Ordered, The Petitioner shall have Liberty to go abroad with his Keeper, to instruct his Counsel, and to attend this Committee, to prosecute his Petition; and that he may have a Copy of the Warrant for his Commitment, from his Keeper.

Wine Merchants,

The Committee for drawing the Petition for the Wine-Merchants, - Two Clock, To-morrow Morning [a], Exchequer Chamber.

Recusants.

The Sub-committee for Religion, to meet this Afternoon, in the Exchequer Chamber, to prepare the Articles concerning the Commission for Recusants.

Person standing in the Entry committed, &c.

During the Dispute of the King's Supply, by the grand Committee, one stood almost an Hour in the Entry, called Philip Parsons, a Scholar, lately come from beyond the Seas : who called to the Bar, and, professing himself of our true Religion, sent out.

He to stand committed to the Serjeant, till further Order.

A Committee: - Sir Tho. Hobby, Knights and Burgesses of London, Sir Francis Steward, Sir Jo. Ellyott, Sir N. Rich, Burgesses of both Universities, to examine him : -

Five Clock this Afternoon, in the Inner Court of Wards.

Liberty of the Subject.

Mr. Littleton reporteth from the grand Committee, that it desireth, that the Committee for the Liberty of the Persons of the Subjects, and Propriety of their Goods, shall sit again at Two of the Clock this Afternoon; and Mr. Speaker to be here at Three, and sit by : And all other Committees to cease, except that for Examination of Parsons.
