Prayers.

PRAYERS were said by the Clerk, divers of the House being present.

Leave of Absence.

Mr. Thomas Reinchin, One of the Burgesses for the Town of Leverpoole in Lancashire, maketh. known to the House, that he was to give special Evidence at the Assises, against a Seminary, who might haply escape, (as he said) for want of such Evidence.

Those present, as a Part representative of the Whole, conceived, they might give Leave; but could not pronounce it, for want of their Mouth; yet was the Clerk directed to enter it, and so to stand by Connivance.

Mr. Speaker's Illness.

Sir Francis Hastings informeth, that Mr. Speaker's Infirmity was a great Pain in his Neck and Head, so as he was no way able, without Danger, to attend ; and therefore prayed, that this Court might, with their Favour, be discontinued till Friday Morning.

Adjournment.

So they arose, and departed, yielding Assent, by a Necessity, to the Motion.
