Passing beyond Seas.

Mr. Fuller reporteth, from the Committee, the Bill concerning such as are to pass over the Seas, or return from beyond the Seas, &c. -

Said, that the Committees thought fit to insert some Amendments ; but did forbear, in regard the Effect of this Bill is in the great Bill of Recusants; and it were fit this Bill should lie until we knew what were done with those Bills : - Et sic obdormit pro tempore.

Logwood.

2. Reading: - B. Concerning Logwood, alias Blockwood : - Thought fit to sleep, and stayed from the Question.

Fens.

Mr. Irby bringeth from the Committee, the Bill for the Draining of the Fens, &c. with Amendments; and ordered to be ingrossed.

He bringeth also the Bill which came from the Lords, with Amendments, and a Proviso; but, because the Proviso was not ingrossed, it was left for that Time.

Sanctuary, &c.

Mr. Fuller reporteth, from the Committee, the Bill concerning Sanctuary; as also the Bill concerning the Repealing the Clause of selling Wines at certain Prices.

And reporteth the Dispute at the Committee, whether the Bill of Sanctuary, and the Bill of Wines, should go together in One Bill. -

Resolved, it should. -

And thought fit, that the Lords Bill concerning Sanctuary, should sleep.

Q. Upon the double Bill: - Ingrossetur.

Holdich's Bill.

Mr. Holdich, in his Bill, heard at the Bar: - He could get no Counsel.

Mr. Whytelock, of the Temple, of Counsel with Mr. Latton, and other the Tenants. -

This Matter being opened ; it was moved, to be compromitted to certain Gentlemen of the House, on both Parts.

The Parties at the Bar made choice of certain Committees : Mr. Holdich, of Sir Roger Wilbraham, Sir Tho. Mounson, Sir John Scott: Mr. Latton made Choice of Sir H. Poole, Sir Valentyne Knightley, Sir Antho. Cope. -

And to meet, and treat between the Parties. - Mr. Latton to persuade the rest of the Tenants.

Corporation.

Mr. Recorder bringeth in the Bill for Confirmation of the Lands and Tenements heretofore granted to Corporations for charitable Uses, as thought fit to sleep.

Ld. Cobham's Attainder.

A Proviso to the Bill of Attainder, touching the Lord Cobham, tendered by Sir Geo. Moore : - The Bill and Proviso re-committed to the former Committees: - To meet this Afternoon, in the Temple Hall.

This Proviso was framed upon an Agreement between the Parties, and came in in Paper.
