A Member attending Mass.

Sir Thomas Cornwallyes brought to the Bar, as a Witness against Sir Wm. Morrice; who affirmed only, attending that at the Constable's Lodging he saw Sir Wm. Morrice coming out of the Room, where the Mass was said.

It was debated, whether Sir Wm. Morrice should be sequestered: -

Resolved, as the Order of the House. And so he was removed; and the Matter debated, and Sir Wm. cleared.

Statute of 8 Eliz.

1. Reading: - The Bill for Explanation of a Statute made in the eighth Year of the Reign of Queen Elizabeth.

Highways.

1. Reading : - The Bill for the better Amendment of great and common Highways.

Recusants.

The Articles against Recusants, brought in by Mr. Fuller from the Committee, and read at large in the House, to the Number of Sixteen.

Counsel deferred.

The Counsel of Ognell, and for the Bill of Fees, to be Counsel deferred, till the Articles be agreed upon.

Religion.

Copies to be delivered of the Articles resolved upon Religion. Mr. Wentworthes Motion of Religion.
