Upon a former Resolution, of some Speech to be had with the Officers of the Green Cloth, touching the Bill against Purveyors, &c. it was now thought meet by the House, that Sir Edw. Hobby should, before Monday next, desire to know of the Lord Steward, the fittest Time for meeting and speaking with them.
Magna Charta.
The Committee for the Bill for Confirmation of Magna Charta, to meet this Afternoon in the Inner Temple Hall.
Order respecting Committees.
Upon a Motion made touching the slow Proceeding and Dispatch of such Bills and Business, as were depending in the House, which grew (as was said; by the Non-attendance of a sufficient Number at Committees; it was Ordered, That if Eight of any Committee do assemble, they might proceed to a Resolution in any Business of the House.

The Committee for the Two Bills of Clothing, &c. to meet To-morrow in the Parliament House.
The Committee touching Relief of Captains, Soldiers, &c. to meet on Saturday in the Parliament House, at the Hour accustomed,
Thanks to the King.
A Motion made, That Mr. Speaker, in Behalf of the House, should pray Access to his Majesty ; and present their humble Thanks, for his gracious Presence and Direction, upon the Hearing of Sir Francis Goodwyn's Cause; Which was assented unto; and Sir Roger Aston, a Servant of his Majesty's Bedchamber, and One of the Members of the House, was presently appointed to know his Majesty's Pleasure: Which he did accordingly; and returned. That his Majesty was willing to give them Access, in the Gallery at Whitehall, at Two a Clock in the Afternoon the same Day. And thereupon a Committee was named to attend Mr. Speaker to the King; with a general Warrant to all others, that should be pleased to accompany them.
