Fugitives.

The Proviso touching the Duchy of Lancaster, in the Bill of the Explanation of the Statute against Fugitives, is, by Order of this House, withdrawn; and a new added; thrice read, and passed; for that the former wanted sufficient Penning to carry the Meaning of this House.

Leave of Absence.

Francis Vaughan Gent. Burgess for Wilton in Wilte-shire, is, for his great Business, licensed to depart.

Bills sent to Lords.

The Bill for Explanation of the Statute against Fugitives, with the Provisoes and Amendments; and also the Bill concerning the Free Grammar School at Tunbridge in the County of Kent; are sent up to the Lords by Mr. Chancellor of the Duchy, and others.

Hospitals.

Mr. Doctor Lewes and Mr. Doctor Huycke do bring from the Lords the Bill touching Grants made unto Hospitals.

Conference - Kerseys.

Mr. Doctor Lewes doth bring Word from the Lords, that their Lordships do desire present Conference with some of this House, touching the Bill concerning the Length of Kerseys: For which Purpose are sent Sir Rowland Hayward, Mr. Grymston, Mr Gresham, Mr. Norton, Mr. Langley, Mr. Brownell, Mr. Fleet, Mr. Appley, Mr. Chester, and Mr. Sekerson.

Hospitals.

The Bill for the Hospitals, sent up to the Lords by Sir Hughe Pawlett, Sir Morryice Barcley, Sir Owen Hopton, and Sir Henry Gate.

Judgments.

The Bill against Delays in Judgments at the Common Law, passed, after many Arguments ; and sent up to the Lords by Mr. Chancellor of the Duchy, and others; with special Commendations from this House.

Shrewesburie.

Mr. Doctor Lewes and Mr. Doctor Huycke do bring from the Lords the Bill for a Statute made for the Town at Shrewesburie, with a Proviso.
