Union with Scotland.
Sir Antho. Cope: - That the Instrument might be returned; with Message, that we had received, read, taken Notes, the Clerk taken a Copy, and reserved it for the Use of the House; and thought good, to send it to their Lordships again : Which accordingly was done by Mr. Secretary Herbert.
Grievances.
Sir Wm. Morrice, taking Occasion of the great Silence,speaketh long, touching the Name of Great Brittaine, and of the several Grievances; wherein he endeavoured to prove, that the King, in the particular Grants of Forfeitures, did sell his Mercy, and his Justice; and continued a long Speech.

Sir John Crook, and Mr. D. Hone bring from the Lords, That the Lords, having received the Instrument; considering, how gravely, how advisedly, we have proceeded, desirous, that all other Occasions might give Place, and that there should be further proceeding; desire, for the more Speed, that, by the mutual Direction of both Houses, a Conference To-morrow: 40 Lords: The Painted Chamber.
