Union with Scotland.
THE Instrument of the Commissioners of the Union, being intended to be read, was deferred, until the House grew full; which was about Ten a Clock.
Corporations.
Added to the Committee of Corporations: Mr. Wentworth, Mr. James, Mr. Prowse, Mr. Bryers, Mr. Gore, Mr. Brook, Mr. Recorder, Sir Tho. Smyth, Mr. Yaxley,Mr. Lieutenant, Mr. Oldsworth, Mr. Pettus, Sir Walter Cope, Sir Tho. Crompton, Sir Geo. Somers, Mr. Hoskins, Mr. Durdent, Sir John Bennett: - Monday, Temple Hall.
Union with Scotland.
The Instrument of the Union, signed and sealed by 28 Scottish Commissioners, and 39 English Commissioners; wanting Sir John Savill, Sir Tho. Strickland, being absent;
Sir Edw. Hobby, present, but did not sign. Mr. Speaker opened the whole Instrument, in a Brief. It was first read at large by the Clerk.
Answer to Grievances.
Mr. Fuller moveth, that the Answer to the Grievances may be referred to some Committees; and they to certify their Opinions to the House : Something, that may give Occasion of Thanks to the King; Something, wherein haply he may receive better Satisfaction.
