Gryse's Decree.

SIR John Heigham bringeth in the Bill between Gryse and Cottrell, upon the Re-commitment; reporteth the Arbitrament; and bringeth a new Proviso; which was twice read ; ordered to be ingrossed; and passed, upon the Question, with the Bill.

Sir Francis Hastings maketh Report of the Conference, - Continuance, Recusants, in other Two Mens Charge: Convocation, and Submission of the Bishop, in his Charge. -

Privilege.

The Instrument of the Convocation : - That the Laity had nothing to do - That the Lower House of Convocation found fault, that the Lord Bishops conferred with us, in Matters of Religion; protesting, that, if they did desist [a], they would appeal to the King. -

The Bishop of London said that they conceived, the Privilege of Parliament to stand upright; therefore no more ado of it. -

For the Submission; that being a Fault committed....

Mr. Carleton: - That the Hare's Foot might be set against the Goose Giblets. - Taxing Sir Fr. Hastings, in his Speech, as was thought. -

Pickering Lewys delivered a Petition to the King, intituled, " To the Monarch of Great Brittaine." - As great Reason that this, as the other, should be called in question.
