Same to [William] Harbord, Auditor [of the Duchy of Cornwall], to the like effect as above for the Cornwall Duchy revenue. Ibid.

Same to the Auditor of the Receipt to issue to the Duchess of Cleveland for last Lady day quarter on her pension the 1.500l. which the Excise Commissioners are directed to pay into the Exchequer this week. Ibid, p. 159.
Same to the said Commissioners to pay in said 1,500l. this week for said Duchess.
Same to same and Auditor Shales and Mr. Harbord [Surveyor General of Crown Lands]. The Treasury Lords have referred to you and me the several branches of the revenue except Customs, Excise and Hearthmoney, viz. what the yearly values thereof, how they arise, how they are charged or anticipated, how they have been accounted for these two or three years past and how far they are improveable. Ibid, p. 165.

Oct. 14. Henry Guy to Mr. Dashwood to hasten the account of the second year's surplus [of the Excise Farm]. Out Letters (General), p. 166.
Same to the Auditors of Imprests to sign the accounts of Mr. Kingdon when you bring them for declaration; and to send a state thereof immediately to the Treasury. Ibid.
Report to the King from the Treasury Lords on the petition of several loyal indigent officers, who pray that the sum of 3,000l. 7s. 4d. paid to his Majesty's use out of the moneys intended for them by the Act of Parliament may be repaid to them out of the arrear due to the King from William Broxholme, Receiver General of the late Eleven Months' tax, co. Lincoln. We find that Sir William Jones, Attorney General, in a report made March 13 last to the late Treasurer Danby, is of opinion that no part of the Eighteen Months' assessment [of 13 Car. II.] arising out of the [six] counties charged with the 60,000l. for the loyal indigent officers ought to have been paid to any but their Treasurer [J. Birch] until said 60,000l. was complete, and that thereafter the remains of said assessment in said counties should go to the King. It appears by certificate of the Auditor of the Receipt dated May 27 last and by a certificate of Tho. Townsend, an officer of the Great Wardrobe, dated June 5 last, that 2,600l. of the said assessment received by Charles Grills, who was sheriff of Cornwall and Receiver General [of said assessment in said county], was by him paid into the Exchequer between 1661–2, March 14, and 1662, June 3, and that 400l. 7s. 4d. of the same assessment in the Isle of Anglesea was paid by Ralph Buckley, sheriff thereof, into the Great Wardrobe between 1662, May 30, and June 23; both which sums, making 3,000l. 7s. 6d., ought, in Sir William Jones's opinion, to have been paid to the Treasurer of the said loyal and indigent officers. The abovesaid arrear due to the King from Broxholme amounts to 8,729l. 18s. 11¾d., besides 1,862l. 14s. 6d. set in super upon subcollectors. It appears by certificate from the Auditor of the Receipt that there remains unpaid on all the orders registered on the Eleven Months' tax only 40l. to Ann Porter and 29l. 10s. 2d. to Nich[olas] Hamond; so that Broxholme's arrear is available for the payment of the said 3,000l. 7s. 6d. to the said indigent officers, who allege that the whole sum of 60,000l. has not yet been completed to their Treasurer, as was required by the Act [of 14 Car. II, c. 8]. It may therefore be ordered by privy seal that as said Broxholme's arrears shall come into the Exchequer, said 3,000l. 7s. 6d. shall be paid to said indigent officers. Warrants not Relating to Money, pp. 75–6.
Treasury subscription for the execution of three orders dated 1678, June 27, 1678, October 15, and 1678–9, February 7, for 20l. each to Robert Swan for 1678, June 24, September 29 and December 25 quarters on his pension. Order Book XXXVIII, p. 43.

Same to Mr. [Anthony] Stephen[s] to certify Auditor Aldworth the several times [dates] on which you actually repaid to Mr. Kent and Mr. Duncombe the money they advanced for the Navy. because Sir Robert Howard [Auditor of the Receipt] certifies the times to be before such time as the money was actually paid by the Tellers by reason of Mr. Wardour's delays in making his recordaturs. Pray dispatch this so that the [said Kent's and Duncombe's] accounts [of interest and reward for moneys advanced by them for the Navy, Ordnance, etc.] may be declared to-morrow. Ibid.
Same to Auditor Aldworth concerning the abovesaid account. The dates of repayment of the abovesaid loans are given you in a list from the Auditor of the Receipt. which principal sums when issued to the Treasurer of the Navy and Ordnance were by them paid over to Kent and Duncombe in repayment as above. But Kent and Duncombe affirm that they did not actually receive the money from the said Treasurers till some few days after the dates of the issues certified as above. You are to take the certificates of Anthony Stephens for the Navy and Sir George Wharton for the Ordnance as vouchers to ascertain the dates of actual repayment. Ibid, p. 167.

Earl of Clarendon. praying for the reversion in fee of the manor of Patrington, Terrington, West Walton with its members in the counties of Norfolk and Yorks and likewise of the abbey of Reading.
