So this General Account is Quitt.
Memorandum [by the Auditor]. In pursuance of the Act of Parliament made in 20 Car. II ("for the better payment of money received to the use of the Crown") the several Distributors of stamped paper hereafter named are chargeable with damages after the rate of 12 per cent. per an. for the respective sums by them received remaining in their hands on the first General Account of these Duties ending 1 August 1703 and here charged upon them from thence to 1 August 1705 the determination of this accompt, to the end the same may be charged upon them by judgment of the Exchequer Court. [The last following on this entry contains 20 items which are not totalled.]
