Religious commentaries.
[After September, 1605]. A compendium of commentaries on, and answers to, a number of matters affecting the beliefs and conduct of Catholic clergy and laity in England. They are written in different hands, and one dissertation entitled "De Emptione et renditione" is accompanied by the date "A° 1605 mese septr.".
It is possible that the book may have been one of those seized by the authorities during their search for the authors of the Gunpowder Plot later in 1605. The title of the book is "Responsio ad casus conscientiae".
Latin. pp. 385. (319.)
