Tuesday, April 14, 1657.
Lord Whitlock gives the House an account of the proceedings of the Committee appointed to attend his Highness, the Lord Protector, yesterday, (fn. 1) and that his Highness appointed the Committee to meet with him again this afternoon, at three of the clock, at Whitehall, and that the Committee desire leave to meet this morning, in order thereunto.
Resolved, that the Committee appointed to attend his Highness, the Lord Protector, upon "the humble petition and advice," (fn. 2) do make a Report of their proceedings, tomorrow morning.
Resolved, that the House be adjourned till to-morrow morning, eight of the clock. (fn. 3)
