convent there, to the nuns of Kateby, of lands in Great Esseby, viz. a
tillage on Warhthou, a tillage extending by Aylthmesty, a tillage of which
one end extends towards Osberneswelle, part of a tillage extending by
Bradewelle, and land on Neddrewong stretching to Eychul, in exchange
for all the lands which the said nuns had on Shepehusflatte in Esseby,
between Shardelowe and Pethling, with other land which Robert, vicar
of Esseby, held from them, which lands the said nuns held in A.D. 1242,
at the time when king Henry the son of king John crossed the sea into
