Conveyance by Richard, son of William Mallore, of Kirkebi, to the hospital of the Holy Trinity without Northampton, and the brethren there, of land in Kirkebi, viz. in Broefurlong part abutting on Smalthirnes, at Kantelowe, at Beccesiche, on Cotenpittes, and adjoining Torbrode; in exchange for land between Rodholm and Babbemor which Gervase de Sutton and others (named) held in pledge of the grantor for seven years from Michaelmas next after the election of H[ugh] de Welles to the bishopric of Lincoln, at the expiration of which term the brethren shall have the last named land, and the land hereby granted to them shall revert to Richard [c. Grant by Nicholas Grove of Stratton, to Sir William de Senges, son of Sir Richard de Senges, of a messuage and croft in Senges, abutting on the highway called 'Ettesgate,' and a piece of land in Ettesmere, land called 'Stanpittes,' and land in Mundham by the mill of Henry de Senges. Agreement between Richard son of Geoffrey de Chippyn, and Gilbert son of Paulinus de Wedacre and Godythe his wife, compromising a suit between them brought before Sirs Walter de Elyun, John de Hocton, Peter de Chester, and William de Northburge, justices in Eyre at Lancaster, concerning a messuage and land at Inscyp and the twelfth part of a mill there: the parties execute mutual conveyances of moieties of the premises, and give mutual rights of pre-emption in case of sale by either party. Release by William, son of Henry de Sancto Johanne, of Boketon, to the master and brethren of the hospital of Holy Trinity without Northampton, of all his right in lands in Boketon (Boughton), which Agnes de Dodeford formerly had of the gift of the late Ralph, rector of the church of Bokinton, in consideration of receiving two loaves of white bread a week from the said hospital and one loaf of squires' bread (panem ad armigerum). Defeasance of a bond for the repayment of 200l. by Thomas Ormond to Anne Boleyn, widow; witnessing that the feoffees (named) of his manor of Swavesey, are to allow the said Anne to receive 60l. a year out of the premises, until the said debt is paid. If the said Thomas dies before the debt is paid, the feoffees are to allow William Boleyn, son and heir of the said Anne, and husband of Margaret, daughter of the said Thomas, to receive a moiety of the rents &c., in right of his wife, the said Anne to receive the other moiety till her debt is paid. 26 February, 20 Edward IV. Defeasance of a bond by Alan Waldeyene, and John Botiler, of Shistoke, to Robert de Leycroft for 40l., witnessing that the bond is to be void if Thomas de la Roche, who is beyond seas, shall, on his return, release to the said Robert all his right in lands and tenements in Merston Cuyly with which the said Thomas had enfeoffed the said Alan and John, &c.
