Defeasance to a bond of William Beverech. citizen and grocer of London, and William Wade, chaplain, to Master David Lewes, rector of the church of St. Fagan in Wales, and William Cantellowe, citizen and mercer of London, for 20 marcs sterling. An agreement has been made between Master Thomas Ruggele, clerk, prebendary of the prebend of Farrewater in Llandaff cathedral, and the said Master David, that he should resign his prebend to Master David, for an annual pension of 10 marcs, to be paid in the church of St. Leonard's Eastcheap, London, and 20 marcs had been paid in advance for 2 years' pension. The bond is to be void if Master Thomas be alive at the end of two years from Michaelmas, A.D. 1431. 23 September, 8 Henry VI. Seal.
