lieges, especially Llewellyn; the abbot and convent of Dore abated
(remisit) all plaints and losses done to their house by the abbot and
convent of Stratflur, who in future should not disturb the abbot and
convent of Dore or make any alienation either by themselves or any of
their men in the lands, pastures, and woods in Cantresclif, which that
House held by their charters. Any monk or lay brother (conversus) of
either House, who should break this peace, to be expelled from his
House, nor should such a one be readmitted except by a general Chapter.
This peace was confirmed A.D. 1209, under the seals of the arbitrators and
the abbots of either House. |
