Agreement whereby John de Lancastre and Mabil his wife demise to Sir Robert, abbot of Ramsey, their manor of Woldhirst, with a messuage and 15 acres there that Alice Dikoun holds for her life, which after her death revert to John and Mabil, and the yearly rent of 14d. that Alice owes for the said tenement, for term of Mabil's life; and also a toft in Ramsey; the abbey paying therefor 10l. yearly, and to John a robe with fur of the suit worn by the abbot's esquires. Grant by William de Waldis, for the souls of himself, Emma his wife, his ancestors, and successors, to Hugh, the abbot, and the convent of Ramsey, of all his messuages, lands, and rents in Waldweston, Brininthon, and Bythern, as specified herein, paying the rents stated. Final concord between Hugh abbot of Ramsey, plaintiff, by William le Chamberleyn, provost, and William de Waldis, deforciant, whereby the latter warrants to the former the lands, &c., specified in Woldweston, Bryninton, and Byderne, according to his grant thereof [see A. 1318]; and the abbot grants the premises to William, and Emma his wife, for their lives at a yearly rent of 7s. 6d. [Hunt.] A. 1323. Agreement whereby Michael, son of Michael de Wauton, tenant of two carucates of land in Waulton, quitclaims such land to Hugh, the abbot, and the convent of Ramsey; in return for which the abbot gives him 20 marcs, 15 quarters of wheat, and a palfrey, and allows him to hold the land of the abbey by knight service, with the exceptions stated, on certain specified conditions. Grant by Robert de Kendale, of Nassington, to Nicholas de Everwyk, clerk, and Robert de Haisand of the annual rent of 40l. issuing out of the lands, &c., in Woldhurst that were formerly William Mowyn's, which Robert, son of Robert de Thorp, knight, granted to Philip de Brampton, chaplain, deceased, and himself, with clauses for distress, &c. Demise by Richard de Molesworth, of Woldhyrst, to Ivo, son of Thomas de Woldhyrst, and Cecilia his wife, for 40s. given him "in mea magna necessitate," of land in Woldhyrst and St. Ives, for 20 years from Michaelmas, 22 Edward I., at a yearly rent of 20s. 12d. Demise by William, son of Eadmund de Hothot, to Geoffrey de la Chapele, of Tichemersh, and Joan his wife, of all his land in Woldweston and Brynton for 10 years from Michaelmas next at a yearly rent of 23s., at the end of which term they will pay 100s. to William, his heirs or assigns. Other covenants specified. The grantor acknowledges he has received the farm for the first five of the above 10 years. Witnesses:— Sir Robert de Hothot, knight, and others (named). Grant by Alice, daughter of Walter Graunfrey, of Heytmundegravc, widow, to Nicholas le Freman and Cristina his wife, of all her portion of a messuage in Heytmundegrave, which has descended to her on the death of John Graunfrey her brother, together with the dower of the same when it falls in. Grant by Matilda, relict of Robert Beaumeys, of Ramsey, to Sir Gilbert the Chaplain (Capellano), living in Ramsey, and Robert Hunte, of Ramsey, of a messuage with garden and "polyerd" adjoining in 'le Briggestrat,' Ramsey, situate as described, which he had by feoffment of Walter de Kendale and John Pakerel. Grant by Agnes, daughter of the late William le Plomer, of Ramsey, to Robert Chastede, clerk, of Ramsey, and Juliana his wife, for 14s., of the fourth part of a messuage in Ramsey between the stone and wooden bridges, which her father and Emma her mother bought of Robert's ancestors, which fourth part descended to her at her father's death. Grant by John Wermyngton, cellarer of Ramsey, to Thomas and William Herte, of the pasture in Wyken and Calvcroft that John Ferme and John Wyndill lately held by copy; to hold from Michaelmas next for their lives, at the lord's will, according to the custom of the manor, paying the cellarer of Ramsey 13s. 4d. yearly for the same. February, 30th year of abbot John Stowe.

Grant by William, son of Peter Russessone, of Enemeth, to Edmund de Oxendon, for 20s., of a portion of his messuage in 'le Briggestrate,' Ramsey, of the size and situation specified, and also of a portion of the said messuage to increase Edmund's garden. Agreement concluded between Alice, relict of Sewall de Heningfeld, and Hugh, abbot of Ramsey, concerning a tenement which Sewall formerly held in Lausell of the fee of the said abbot, with the whole of which Alice asserted she was dowered at the church door, by a charter of the said Sewall which she produced. On inspecting the charter the abbot granted the whole of the tenement to Alice for life, she undertaking to pay the abbot yearly 20s., at each of the four usual terms, beginning St. Andrew's day next, for eight years. Agreement whereby Thomas Caunvyll grants to John his son, and Alice his wife, and their children, all his possessions in Heightmondegrove, Bury, Ramsey, and Upwode (as by the grant thereof made more fully appears), they finding the said Thomas fitting board for his life, giving him the best chamber in the messuage at Heightmondegrove, and paying him 20s. yearly.
