The wardship of the manor, which Thomas de Pynkeny deceased held of the said Henry, was demised by the said Henry, who held of the king in chief, to Thomas de Arderne; and also the dower of Christiana, who was the wife of Robert de Pynkeney, in Stanes, when it should fall in, until the full age of the heir of the said Thomas de Pynkeney, and she did fealty to him for the same. Thomas de Arderne had peaceful seisin of the said wardship throughout the life of the said Henry, and the said dower through the death of the said Christiana came to his hands some time ago.

Welshtown (Villam Wallens'). A manor place (mansio) in which is a ruined house and garden, and 99a. arable now wasted by war, 8a. pasture and two parts of a mill.
Balymolyn. 1a. (sic) land held by Walter Coytroch, rendering 66s. 8d. .yearly in time of peace, but (now) nothing on account of the war.
(Unspecified.) 1a. held by David Walens [is] rendering a pair of iron spurs yearly, price 2½d., at Balimor Castle. Pleas and perquisites 4s. yearly.
Welshtown ought to answer for two parts of 1 mark when royal service runs. The wife of the said Elias holds 55a. with meadow, and there is due ⅓ mark when royal service runs, and she receives 10s. yearly for a third part of the said mill.
John his son, aged 9 about the feast of the Assumption in the said year, is his heir, and his marriage is worth 100s.
Extent of the lands &c. of Henry Barbedor who held of the said archbishopric in chief, made on the same day.
Ardenoch. A manor place (mansio) in which is a stone house commenced, 32a. arable, and 12a. pasture, from which are due to the archbishop at Balimor 21¾d., and two parts of a fulling mill.
The mother of the said Henry holds 24a. arable in dower, and answers for 16d. to the archbishop, and receives 2s. from the mill in dower.
The wife of the said Henry holds 17a. arable, and owes to the archbishop 10½d. and a third part of ½d.
Swerdes. 1½ carucate land, from which he paid yearly to the archbishop 5 marks, of which land his mother has 60 acres for her dower, and renders 22s. 2½d., and his wife has 40 acres for her dower, and renders 24s. 9¾d., and so there remain for the lord's wardship (wardam) 80 acres, from whence is due to the archbishop 29s.7¾d. rent, leaving 37s.¼d. for the lord's wardship.
Hugh his son, aged nine, is his heir, and his marriage is worth 100s.
Petition from Thomas de Cheddesworth for the king's letter to the treasurer and barons of the exchequer to audit his account of the above wardships and cause him to be allowed what shall be reasonable for the sustenance of the heirs; and to be assigned terms for paying the arrears of the account (undated).

[Terling ?] A messuage, 100a. arable, 12a. wood destroyed in the time of the war, 2a. meadow, 3a. pasture, and 10s. 6d. rent, &c., held of the bishop of Norwich by service of ⅓ knight's fee, were demised to the said Hervey for life by Jolland de Cokham with reversion to him and his heirs.
Laurence Hardel is next heir of the said Jolland, and aged 26. The jury could not have inspection of the charter.
Transcript of a charter made by the said Jolland to Hervey de Borham, Precentor of Hereford, viz.— A grant of all that messuage with the lands, &c., which he had of the gift of Idonea de Cokeham his mother as her heir, of the lands, &c. which she had in her pourparty of the inheritance of John Renger her brother in Terlingg, Borham and Hatfeud Peverell, to be held for his life, doing the accustomed services to the chief lords of the fee, and if the said Hervey shall die within 10 years, then his heirs and executors shall have the same for the residue of that term, with reversion to the said Jolland and his heirs, who shall save the said Hervey harmless against the said Idonea. For which grant the said Hervey gave a certain sum of money. Dated at Chelmsford in full county (court), Tuesday before St. Vincent, 56 Hen. III.
