Labourers.

The Bill, intituled, An Act for the Explanation of the Statute, made in the Fifth Year of the late Queen Elizabeth's Reign, concerning Labourers, was returned to the House, with certain Amendments, and a Proviso offered to be added; which Amendments and Proviso were presently Twice read.

Forcible Entries. Reject.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for Restitution to be granted, in certain Cases, upon Entries with Force, or holding with Force.

Prisoners. Rejected.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act authorizing Justices of Peace to deliver certain Prisoners out of Gaol; and for the placing and settling of poor Prisoners after their Delivery.

Vagabonds, &c.

Upon a Motion of the Earl of Worcester, That, in regard the Committees on the Bill against Rogues and Vagabonds could not meet at the Time formerly assigned, some new Time might be therefore assigned for that Purpose; it was appointed by the House, that the said Committees should meet on that Bill upon Tuesday next, the Fifth of June, by Eight in the Morning, at the Little Chamber, near the Parliament Presence.

Exportation of Ordnance.

Upon a like Motion of the Lord Spencer, it was Agreed by the House, That the Committees on the Bill against Transportation of Ordnance should meet upon Tuesday, the Fifth of June, in the Afternoon, by Two of the Clock, at the Council Chamber at His Majesty's Palace of Whitehall.

Ecclesiastical Affairs.

Whereas, by the Message intended to have been delivered to the Lower House Yesterday, the Meeting for Conference about Matters Ecclesiastical was desired by their Lordships to be as To-morrow, being Friday, the First of June, in the Council Chamber at Whitehall; forasmuch as the same is a Convocation-Day, and upon Saturday in the Afternoon the Meeting is appointed concerning the Book written by the Bishop of Bristoll, the Lords sent a Message, by Mr. Serjeant Crooke and Mr. Dr. Carew, to give them Signification thereof; and that therefore the Meeting of the Sub-Committees of both Houses, for the said Matters Ecclesiastical, might be upon Monday next, the Fourth of June, by Two in the Afternoon, at the Council Chamber at Whitehall. Answer returned from the Lower House, That they will give Meeting at the Time and Place appointed.

Field and Chards.

The Stationers, Feilde and Charde, were enjoined to attend again upon Saturday next, 2d June, by Eight in the Morning; upon which Day the Lords have agreed to resolve of the Manner of their Conference with the Lower House, about the Bishop of Bristoll's Book.
