Prayers.

Westminster Court of Conscience.

ORDERED, That Sir Philip Warwick have Leave to bring in a Bill for erecting a Court of Conscience within the City of Westminster, and the Liberties thereof, for the better Government of the poorer Sort of People.

Southwarke Court of Conscience.

Ordered, That Sir Thomas Clergis have Leave to bring in a Bill or Bills for erecting a Court of Conscience within the Borough of Southwarke, and other Places within the Bills of Mortality, which are not in the City of London.

Insolvent Debtors.

Ordered, That the Quorum of the Committee, to which it is referred to bring in a Bill or Bills for Relief of poor Prisoners for Debt, be Three.

Cage's Estate.

A Bill for the Sale of certain Lands of Seckford Cage Esquire, lying in the Counties of Essex and Cambridge, to Edward Atkins Esquire, for the Consideration of One thousand Four hundred Pounds, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time.

Croydon Vicarage.

A Bill to provide a perpetual yearly Maintenance for the Vicar of Croydon for the future, and for removing the present Incumbent, was read a Second time.

Illegal Exactions.

Ordered, That the Report of the Bill against illegal exacting Money from the Subject, be heard To-morrow Morning, Ten of the Clock.

Test against Papists.

Ordered, That the Report of the Bill for a Test, to distinguish between Protestants and Papists, be heard on Wednesday Morning next, Ten of the Clock.

State of Ireland.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to take into further Consideration the State and Condition of the Kingdom of Ireland.

Sir Charles Harbord reports from the said Committee, Two Votes and Resolves of the Committee, to be presented to the House: Which were delivered in at the Clerk's Table; and are as followeth; viz.

That a Committee be appointed to inspect the State and Condition of the Revenue of Ireland; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House, as speedily as they may.

That the same Committee do consider of the State of the Religion, and the Militia, of that Kingdom; and report the same, with their Opinions, to the House, as speedily as they may.

The Question being put, For adding the Words "and Forces,"after the Word "Militia," in the last Vote;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, For adding the Words "and examine the Matter of Fact," after the Word "Kingdom," in the same Vote;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, For adding the Words "how that Kingdom may be best secured," after the Word "Opinions;"

Suffolk Return amended.

The Clerk of the Crown, and the late High Sheriff for the County of Suffolk, attending, according to the Order of the House; the said Sheriff did withdraw and take off the File, the Return of the Lord Huntingtower; and the Clerk of the Crown amended the Return of Sir Samuell Barnardiston.

Committees.

The Question being put, That all Committees be adjourned;
