Committee of Elections.

ORDERED, That these Members following be added to the Committee of Elections; viz. Sir John Bennett, Mr. Chowne, Mr. Grey, Sir Edward Bish, Sir James Smith, Col. Millward.

Committee of Grievances.

Ordered, That the Committee of Grievances do sit on Monday Sevennight.

Golding's Estate.

A Bill for making good Recoveries suffered by George Golding.

Ordered, That this Bill be read the Second time on Monday next.

Public Accounts.

Sir Charles Harbord reports from the Committee, to which the Bill for examining and taking the Accompts of publick Monies was committed, several Amendments agreed to be made to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence; and, after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Which were Twice read; and all the Amendments to the Amendment to * * Line, were severally, upon the Question, agreed unto.

Lords desire a Conference.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir William Child, and Sir John Coell;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords desire a present Conference with this House, in the Painted Chamber, upon the Subject Matter of the last Conference touching the Earl of Clarendon.

The Messengers being again called in, Mr. Speaker acquaints them, that the House, being in a great Debate, would send an Answer by Messengers of their own.

Conference desired with Lords.

Ordered, That Sir Robert Howard do go up to the Lords, to desire a Conference upon the Subject Matter of the last Message: And that it be, at that Conference imparted to the Lords, that the House conceives, there was a Mistake in that last Message; for that it should have been, for a free Conference, by the usual Course of Proceeding between the Houses.

Sir Robert Howard reports, that the Lords had consented to a present Conference.

Ordered, That the Persons formerly appointed do manage the Conference.

Persons to attend.

Ordered, That the French Merchants be desired to attend To-morrow Morning, at Ten of the Clock.

Post Office.

Ordered, That Sir Robert Howard, Sir Thomas Meeres, Mr. Progers, Sir John Coventry, Mr. Ratcliffe, Mr. Brunckard, Sir Edward Thurland, Mr. Comptroller, Mr. Pepis, Sir Charles Wheeler, Mr. Jay, Sir Henry Capell, Mr. King, be added to the Post Office: And all that come are to have Voices.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
