A BILL for settling certain Glebe Lands in Norfolke, on the Rector of Randham, read the Second time.

Miscarriages of the War

The House then entered into Debate of the Matter of Miscarriages in the late War; and, in particular, of disobeying the Orders of his Royal Highness the Duke of Yorke, for Pursuit of the Victory obtained by his Highness, in the First Engagement against the Dutch:

And several Witnesses were called in; and examined at the Bar: Who, in their Evidence, reflecting on a Member of this House; and he, in his Place, having made his Defence; and being withdrawn; and the Matter, in part, debated;

Resolved, &c. That the Examination of this Miscarriage, and of all other Miscarriages in the late War, be referred to the Committee already appointed for that Purpose; and, that the Opinion of the House be respited till the Return of their Report.

Restraints of Juries.

Resolved, &c. That all that come to the Committee concerning Miscarriages in Restraints of Juries, are to have Voices.

A Person to attend.

Ordered, That Sir Edward Spragg do attend this House To-morrow Morning.

Committee of Privileges.

Ordered, That Sir John Strode, Mr. Marvell, Sir Ralph Hare, Mr. Milward, Sir Wm. Gilligrew, be added to the Committee of Privileges.
