Prayers.

Privilege.

UPON Complaint made on Behalf of Mr. Scawen, a Member of this House, that Edward and John Herne had felled and lopped several Trees, and committed other Waste upon the Estate of Mr. Scawen, whilst he is attending the Service of this House, in Breach of the Privilege of Parliament;

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of Privileges, to examine the Matter of Breach of Privilege objected against Edward and John Herne, for lopping the Trees, and doing Spoil upon the Estate of Mr. Scawen, a Member of this House; and that the said Edward and John Herne do attend the Committee of Privileges to give an Account herein: And the Committee are to report the Matter, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Stonehouse's Portions.

A Bill for raising Six thousand Pound out of the Estate of Mr. John Lenthall, for the Portions of John, Mary, and Dorothy Stonehouse, was read the Second time.

Monies due to the Crown.

A Bill for the better answering of Monies due to the Crown was read the Second time.

A Proviso on Behalf of the Sheriffs was twice read.

Committee of Grievances.

Ordered, That Sir Charles Harbord's Report from the Committee of Grievances be heard To-morrow Morning.

Lindsey Level.

The House, according to former Order, proceeded to the Hearing of the Cause upon the Bill depending in this House, concerning the Draining of Lindsey Level Fen in Lincolnsheere.

And Parties and Counsel were called in to the Bar of the House;

And the Petition of the Lords, Owners, and Commoners, was read; and Counsel heard; and Witnesses examined on the Behalf of Sir William Kellegrew, and Sir Henry Heron; and other Witnesses on the Behalf of the Lords, Owners, and Commoners; and several Deeds and Writings were produced and read on both Sides.

A Book containing the true Copy of Commission of Sewers in 1609:

And the Question being put, That the same be read in Evidence;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, That one True being offered as a Witness on behalf of the Country;

And the Question being put, That he be admitted as a Witness;

It passed in the Negative.

Resolved, &c. That the future Hearing of the said Cause be put off till Saturday Morning next.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
